This is a jam packed tour where you’ll get to see life in a traditional rice farming village as well as visit ninh binh. I’d advise to take shoes you’re comfortable walking in as well as clothes appropriate for hiking. The journey time to phu luong is not insignificant but the transport is comfortable. This tour is better than booking yourself as the stress of organising is removed and you can fit a lot in during those three days.
Over all a great experience to go somewhere a little less crowed... :-)
No concrete information is provided, either before or during the tour. The advertised program bears no resemblance to what actually happens. The guide doesn't adapt to the group. We were all in our fifties and older. There are no breaks. It's a constant rush. It was uncomfortable. They promise to take you back to your hotel or the airport, but we're all dropped off in the same place. You're left to figure out where you are and where you need to go.
Our Pù Luông and Ninh Bình trip was fantastic, largely thanks to our guide, Brian. Brian was highly professional and exceptionally knowledgeable about both regions. His passion for the local culture and history made the sites, from the terraced rice fields of Pù Luông to the ancient capital of Hoa Lư in Ninh Bình, come alive. He was incredibly attentive and caring, ensuring everyone felt safe and comfortable, especially during the trekking in Pù Luông. Brian is also a fantastic motivator and storyteller, making the long drives fun with his activities and engaging narratives. Highly recommended! If you want a fun, informative, and well-organized tour, ask for Brian.
Our 3-day trip to Ninh Binh and Pu Luong was a wonderful experience. The peaceful rivers, towering limestone mountains, and golden rice fields were breathtaking. Our guide, Brian, was kind and knowledgeable, always making sure we felt comfortable. He showed us hidden paths, shared local stories, and took us to enjoy simple but delicious food. The journey felt slow and peaceful, just like life in the countryside. If you love nature and quiet moments, this trip is perfect. Thank you, Brian, for making it so special!

It was very good overall: The two hotels a wonder and the food rich. Very interesting excursions and guide Brian a very nice and chatty boy. The transports also well coordinated, in the end we did not want to return to Hanoi and put us a taxi to the station where we took a bus to go south.

The tour was very well organised and adjusted to our special requirements. It felt authentic and the lodges we stayed at were very nice. Our guide Hung was flexible, knew the best times to visit the places to avoid crowds and had a good sense of humour which made it even better. Highly recommended!

Amazing 3 day Trip to Pu Luong and Ninh Binh. The was really beautiful with a lot of wild nature and we felt very relaxed afterwards. One highlight was definetly the Bat Cave. We had an amazing time with our guide Double, who explained everything very well and also showed us a lot of great fotospots. Also the 2 hotels were great located almost in the jungle it was very calm and relaxing. You should definetly book this great adventure.
