Construída sobre uma antiga mesquita da qual ainda existem vestígios, a Catedral de Sevilha é considerada a maior catedral gótica do mundo e uma das mais espetaculares da Europa. Aqui podemos encontrar o túmulo de Cristóvão Colombo, sempre rodeado de polémica.
Com os seus quase 100 metros de altura, a Giralda de Sevilha é sem dúvida um dos símbolos desta cidade monumental. Antigo minarete da mesquita da cidade, na época cristã foi reaproveitado para ser a torre da Catedral. Aprecie as vistas do que era até recentemente o ponto mais alto da cidade.
Começando a sua construção na época islâmica, o Alcazar de Sevilha é uma mistura de estilos que não o deixará indiferente. Os seus quartos, pátios e jardins são dignos do esplendor que esta cidade viveu no passado. Hoje ainda é a residência da monarquia espanhola em suas viagens a Sevilha.

Our guide was very knowledgeable about the history of Seville and the Alcazar in particular. She also took us to a couple of places off the tourist track. We also appreciated her keeping us under shelter and shade as much as possible given the heat.

We had a wonderful tour of Seville with Christina. She did an excellent job showing us the Seville Cathedral, the Royal Palace of Seville, and the Jewish Quarter. Christina was very knowledgeable, explained the history clearly, and made everything interesting and easy to understand for our whole family. She was patient, friendly, and kept everyone engaged throughout the tour. The only negative was that the microphone/audio equipment was poor and really needs to be updated, since it was difficult to hear clearly at times. Aside from that, the tour was excellent. We learned so much and truly enjoyed the experience. Highly recommend Christina to anyone visiting Seville!

Juan was an outstanding private tour guide: easy to communicate with, easy to understand his English, very knowledgeable, told and showed us many things we would not have looked at or understood in our own.
