Seguimos em direção a Bucha, entrando na cidade e passando pela rua Yablunskaya, a mesma rua onde foram feitas imagens horripilantes de civis sendo baleados. Continuando pela rua, chegamos à estação onde um comboio de aproximadamente 30 veículos russos foi destruído. Seguimos pelo centro da cidade. Massacre na Bucha.
Irpin - Hero City, atravessamos a ponte Romanivsky destruída durante a evacuação. Ao longo do caminho, paramos em um memorial, que é um cemitério de equipamentos destruídos nas batalhas de Irpin. Continuando por Irpin, perto da fronteira com Bucha. Nesta área, houve intensas operações militares durante a guerra.

Must do!!! This tour was incredibly eye opening to providing the context of the current Ukraine war, but also showed the true horrors of the residents of Bucha and the suburbs dealt with under Russian Occupation. I’m not going to lie, the sites and stories were difficult to take in at times. On the other side, it goes to show just how strong the Ukrainian people are. I think that it is important to understand the cruelties of war. Svet was awesome. He is obviously an expert on the recent history and really did everything he could to make this an impactful experience. While you’re scheduling this tour, reach out about other tours of Kyiv he might offer. The city is incredibly beautiful and is way more than a conflict zone. There is so much to see, and I know Svet would show you the most spectacular places.
If I could I would give more stars, Svit was excellent, very accommodating, and improvising on the spot for my last minute change of plans. Thank you so much for all the flexibility shown and for the content provided.
This tour was educational, informative, and deeply somber. It is an important experience for anyone who wants to better understand the reality of Russia’s occupation and its impact on Ukraine. Our guide, Svit, was highly knowledgeable and presented the information clearly and thoughtfully. He also adjusted parts of the tour, within reasonable limits, to align with the specific interests of me and my friend, which added depth and relevance to the experience. This is not an easy tour emotionally, but it is a necessary one. I would strongly recommend it.

One of the most interesting days I've ever had. Svit is an excellent guide, although perhaps a more fitting title is 'investigative journalist'. In Kiv, the first place to be hit by missiles was once the place where Jews were killed. There were many things I didn't know, but they were kind enough to show me videos and photos of their prior knowledge. I visited many places, but the experience in the Irpin River and Bucha was shocking. If you're in Ukraine now and can get half a day, it's a must-go tour.
I took this tour in mid-January 2025. The guide was on time during pick-up. He spoke English very well and also French. He was really knowledgeable about everything that happened during the Russian occupation of the Kiyv region and took the time to explain everything to me. He also had a tablet with films on the different moments of the occupation. The places visited are very impressive. I was also able to see some Banksy paintings. This tour was super interesting and helpful to understand what they lived during occupation. The guide was super friendly, clear, he put me perfectly in the atmosphere of the Russian occupation by detailing what had happened at each place, whether through site visits to Horenka, Butcha, Irpin and Borodyanka or with reports that introduce, present or complement very well what we see.
