A pequena aldeia de Tunes ('izbat Tunis) está localizada no oásis de Fayoum, a caminho de Wadi Rayan. Localizada em uma colina de frente para um grande lago de água salgada, a vila tem uma vista deslumbrante da orla do deserto do outro lado do lago. É um dos lugares mais bonitos do Egito.

Wadi Al-Hitan, Vale das Baleias, no Deserto Ocidental do Egito, contém restos fósseis inestimáveis da mais antiga e agora extinta subordem de baleias, Archaeoceti. Estes fósseis representam uma das principais histórias da evolução: o surgimento da baleia como mamífero oceânico a partir de uma vida anterior como animal terrestre. Este é o local mais importante do mundo para a demonstração deste estágio de evolução
O Fayoum, como é conhecido, é o único oásis artificial, criado não pela água que brota do solo, mas por um longo canal, formado naturalmente pelas cheias do Nilo, que data dos tempos bíblicos, denominado canal de José. Estende-se desde o Nilo até ao grande lago de Birket Qarun. É este enorme lago, que num dia agitado se parece muito com o mar, que dá um carácter especial ao Fayoum. O lago costumava ser um importante local para a caça ao pato e os hotéis em sua margem sul hospedavam luminares como Winston Churchill e o rei Farouk enquanto eles atiravam em pássaros voadores. Embora ainda haja caça aos patos, há muito mais observação de pássaros neste lago e no vizinho Wadi Rayyan, outra extensão de água criada artificialmente.

I want to thank the driver who wait us for long time at hotel also the programme is so good. When we arrived Mr mefreh welcomed us also food was excellent in camp and views are awesome. I recommend this trip since the price is cheap

This tour was incredible! The Whales Valley and Wadi El Rayan are breathtakingly beautiful. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly, providing fascinating insights into the area’s history and natural wonders. The tour was well-organized, with plenty of time to explore and take photos. The transportation was comfortable, and the lunch provided was delicious. This trip is a must-do for anyone visiting Cairo. Highly recommend!

What a *hit show this was. If you book the cheaper version of this tour for 80 USD "Car+guide", the only thing you will get is a regular taxi from Cairo to the camp. The way it is written is completely untransparent and misleading. I have no clue why this option is even available since without a 4x4 car, you can't do *hit in the park. They didn't mention I would need to pay extra until the very end when they just handed me a phone, and someone was requesting another 50 USD for the drive and lunch. I would have been fine with it if it had been obvious from the beginning, but it wasn't. On top of that, we didn't even visit all the attractions, and that "Qualified Egyptologist Guide" was another driver who couldn't speak English at all. Now these clowns are asking the Viator support bot not just for that 50 USD but for 200, which I consider to be completely pathetic. Stay away from them.
We apologize for you for this misunderstanding but From the begining sit , you booked the option Car& guide . And you have got private limousine car picked you up and you have egyptologist guide in Fayoum . We contacted you at the tour morning confirming on you the booked option " Car+ guide" which means all entry fees and lunch is excluded . They are included in the All inclusive option which you hadn't booked . Secondly , Although you have booked Car& guide option , you refused to pay the entry fees & lunch at the end of thr tour and we payed for you the entry fees and lunch which costs 2300 egyptian pounds .
Highly organized and nice tour . Wadi El Rayan is a great place to visit . Guide Mido is so nice and knowledgeable. We also enjoyed having lunch there and visiting wadi El Hitan . Great service with reasonable price.
