We went on the tour with Gina who was very informative and friendly. The Cyclo ride was very good and showed us different parts of Hanoi that we hadn’t explored yet. Gina also gave us lots of local recommendations for food, coffee and things to do.
Gina was excellent durung the tour. The information and history that we engaged with was fascinating and got us into touch with Vietnamese culture. It was a thouroughly enjoyable experience
Very good communication and support from Darcy, who did his best. Unfortunately, the pedicab drivers did not follow the planned route at all, so we were not able to see the key points of Hanoi. And Darcy was not able to explain to us what we had come to see… We also had not understood that it was 45 minutes of biking and then the rest on foot given the ad… otherwise I would not have chosen it with 2 children… Furthermore, when leaving, they insulted us to get paid more, even though they had made unnecessary detours. I really recommend that Darcy change drivers and select them better, otherwise all passing travelers will be disappointed like us, and therefore there is no point. We are leaving Hanoi without having seen or learned about the key points of this superb city.
We had an amazing Cyclo Tour with Gina and couldn’t have asked for a better guide! She made the experience truly special by sharing so much about the history of Hanoi, the daily life of its people, and the local culture. Gina was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate, and she answered all of our questions with great enthusiasm. What we appreciated most was her flexibility. She adapted the tour to our pace and gave us so many wonderful recommendations for the rest of our stay in Hanoi, including places to eat, things to see, and local tips that only someone who knows the city well could share. We highly recommend this tour, especially if you have Gina as your guide. She made our first impression of Hanoi unforgettable, and we would definitely book this experience again! Thank you, Gina, for such a fantastic afternoon!
We had a wonderful time exploring Hanoi's Old Quarter by cyclo. The driver was friendly, careful, and made us feel safe throughout the tour. It was a relaxing way to experience the busy streets, local markets, and historic atmosphere without having to walk too much. We also learned interesting facts about the city along the way. The tour was well organized and worth the price. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone visiting Hanoi for the first time.
Excellent tour . Beautiful way to experience Hanoi . Suitable for all ages and small or large groups. Highly recommend.
The tour was so good and fun! We met Gina and she is knowledgeable. Ưe have seen many places that we really love
Gina was the BEST! She gave us lots of information and answered all of our questions.
From the title and description of the trip, we were expecting a 2-hour Cyclo tour but this was only the first 30 mins or so of the tour - worth noting. However, our guide Tracy was so helpful, friendly and professional. She took us to the heritage house and explained in detail historical Vietnamese life of a typical family who would have lived there. We told her we hadn’t tried Egg Coffee so she took us to a cafe popular with the locals which we would never have found on our own (Cafe Dinh) and, from chatting with us, tailored the walking tour to our interests perfectly. If you are allocated Tracy for your tour, you won’t be disappointed!
Gina contacted us via WhatsApp one day before the tour. We were picked up on time by four rickshaws, as we were a group of four adults and two children. We spent about an hour riding through the Old Quarter and French Quarter to the Opera House, where we stopped for photos. Gina rode ahead on her scooter and shared interesting information along the way. It was fun and adventurous to be in the middle of the busy traffic, though the air pollution can be high—bringing a mask might be helpful. After the ride, we continued on foot to a traditional Vietnamese heritage house, where Gina explained how people used to live. She was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. We also visited a local market and a hidden coffee shop to try egg coffee, which was delicious. Gina even picked up my forgotten handbag and gave us great sightseeing tips. Highly recommended for a first impression of Hanoi!
