Andaremos no teleférico na estação de San Javier, a oeste da cidade. Aqui desfrutaremos de uma vista sem igual, com o objetivo de estar um pouco mais perto dos bairros que compõem a Comuna 13.
A comuna 13 é um lugar cheio de cor, dança, vida, sabor. É um espaço para apreciar a transformação de uma cidade que foi estigmatizada por um passado difícil e violento. Estar no meio da comunidade faz de você parte de uma grande família como a cidade, que hoje luta para manter todo o bem que foi alcançado depois de deixar a guerra para trás.

Highly recommend, they accommodated my mom who is 68y old and the guide Henry was awesome being attentive and around for translation. Explained historical significance, adjusted the pace etc.,
We had a great time exploring Communa 13 by cable car, whilst being explained the history behind the neighbourhood, and than afterwards walking the more tourist part with our super nice guide, Julio, who was an enthusiastic and excellent storyteller and one of the best guides we’ve ever been on a tour with. We would book this one again without any hesitation. Ask for Julio😉
Henry was our private guide for this tour, and he was incredibly helpful, welcoming, and knowledgeable. He went above and beyond to make us feel safe and comfortable throughout the entire experience. He was attentive, flexible with timing, and happy to answer all of our questions. He shared the fascinating history behind Comuna 13 and guided us through every detail of the neighborhood, making the experience both informative and engaging. Oscar was amazing! We loved our tour to Communa 13 with him explaining little details and big ones. He kept both the kids and adults engaged and took care of everything we asked from pick up to drop off. Highly recommend him for all Medillin tours. Thank you Oscar for a great experience!

Our guide Yuly, was knowledgeable, friendly and very accommodating. We learned a lot from her! It’s so worth it to do a private tour at Communa 13. Spaces are tight and tons of information and history to learn. So having a private guide is a must. Yuly did an excellent job!

Amazing experience with Oscar and his company Tourguides Medellín! Visited Colombia for five days for the first time with my two sons (age 11 and 17)…our experience with Tourguides Medellín was the best part of our trip! We toured the city center, saw Botero sculptures, visited Comuna 13 and rode a cable car to see the beautiful landscape from an elevated position. Separately, we did a day trip to Guatapé and a small family-run coffee and cacao finca. Oscar (and Julio) were incredibly friendly and helpful, and extremely professional and punctual. Superb communication. Gave recommendations on local shopping and low-key activities for my family and also arranged airport transportation for us. All aspects of the guide service were more than worth the reasonable cost ($60 pp for city tour, $80 pp for Guatapé and $110 pp for finca tour) to make the most of our limited time in this beautiful part of the world. We hope to return and see Oscar and his other guides again soon!

Yuly was an amazing tour guide! She knew so much about the history and our main goal was to learn about the history that created such a vibrant culture! She made recommended stops for cultural snacks and for us to purchase goodies or watch the amazing street performers. She also is an INCREDIBLE driver and we felt 100% safe the entire time.

I’ve taken many tours while traveling, and this was easily one of the best. As a solo female traveler, feeling safe and comfortable is incredibly important to me, and from the moment I was picked up, I felt completely at ease. He was respectful, kind, accommodating, and genuinely invested in making sure I had a great experience. Comuna 13 is filled with history, culture, and incredible art, and having a local guide explain the stories behind it all added so much depth to the experience. We had an incredible experience touring Comuna 13 with Yuly in Medellín! From the very beginning, she was welcoming, kind, flexible, and accommodating. She picked us up directly from our hotel and was extremely understanding when we were running a bit behind and needed to adjust the pickup location. Yuly was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Colombia, Medellín, and Comuna 13 itself, and we learned so much throughout the tour. Everything was thoughtfully planned out, and she made sure we got the absolute most out of the experience. The tour included great photo stops, a delicious snack, and even an opportunity to meet one of the influential street artists behind Medellín’s famous murals, which made the experience feel even more special and authentic. She also made sure to get us back to our hotel exactly when we had requested.
