Dispell your image of scary Dharavi portrayed in Slumdog Millionaire by joining tour guide Divya in understanding why businesses and residents are proud of their “city within the city” of Mumbai. We saw many of the industrious businesses and one in particular was a superb leather shop where we bought many a wallet with the Dharavi stamp! Divya — a proud and knowledgeable resident of Dharvari also shared her home and family with us. This is a must tour if you want to see the working “slum” of Mumbai from the eyes of a resident.
