10 minutos para chegar ao minarete da Torre Hassan, adjacente às ruínas de uma mesquita inacabada. A construção da mesquita e do mineral começou no século XII, durante o reinado do governante almóada, Yacoub al-Mansour. a torre tem 44 metros (140 pés) de altura e apresenta detalhes decorativos intrincados, como caligrafia e padrões geométricos.
Após 1 hora de carro até o Grande Mausoléu Islâmico em Rabat, foi construído entre 1961 e 1971, após a morte do Rei Mohammed V em 1961. O mausoléu foi projetado pelo arquiteto vietnamita Nguyen Viet Thu, e a construção foi realizada por artesãos marroquinos e artesãos. apresenta impressionante arquitetura islâmica e intrincados trabalhos em mármore. Os túmulos são feitos de ônix branco e estão situados sob uma grande cúpula.

Driver(Humza) was on time for pick up. He dropped us OFF and came to pick us up in a few mins after we finished our guided tours. I forgot my hat in the van after the last drop OFF. Hamza came back to drop OFF the hat. Very kind of him. Hamza made sure that we were drinking enough water in between our tours. Our guide Mustafa was very knowledgeable. We learned a lot of history and culture about the places we visited. Also he suggested good places to eat.

Rabat is a lovely city. Some aspects of tour disappointing. Some aspects not well planned. Place we were taken for lunch so disappointing we all walked out without eating.

We had a wonderful day trip to Rabat on 5 March 2026 with guide Hamed and driver Naciri. Hamed told us a lot about the local attractions and history, and he answered all of our questions in a very informative and friendly way. After that, we enjoyed lunch and had some free time to walk through the medina, which was an interesting but also rather challenging experience for European people.

I am glad I did the day trip to Rabat. The whole experience was seamless and very well organized.
