My daughter had our guide Voyanna all to ourselves for a wonderfully insightful first time visit to Kotor. This one hour tour covered a lot of ground. Voyanna was prompt, friendly, informative and patient. I really enjoyed the time with her and learned so much about beautiful old town Kotor.
Very informative, friendly, and historical. Voyanna is a great tour guide. Our first time here. We travelled with friends.
Ivana is so knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. She made our tour a truly unforgettable experience. I loved all the anecdotes of her personal experience in Kotor!
Our guide Vuk was very informative and humorous; we truly enjoyed the tour. He is very knowledgable and personalized the tour based on our interests.
Little to no historical content despite asking. Instead got a personal biography of the tour guide. Disappointed
Kotor is a must-see — and even more special with Vuk! Kotor’s Old Town is already a fascinating place, but exploring it with Vuk (Wolf) took the experience to a whole new level. Friendly, engaging, and deeply knowledgeable about the history of Kotor, Montenegro, and the wider Balkans region, he added tremendous value to our visit in just one hour. Thanks to him, we understood the context, the hidden details, and the soul of the city. It was an insightful, rich, and truly memorable experience. I highly recommend taking a guided tour with Vuk — it’s absolutely worth it!
Our ship the Majestic Princess docked in Kotor on 4/28/25. We took a water shuttle to the mainland where we met our guide Bogdon for a walking tour of the old town. Bogdon explained that Kotor is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The old city was built between 12 and 14 centuries and is filled with medieval architecture and historic monuments and churches. He explained how the city walls extended over 4 kilometers which protected Kotor for centuries, which led up to the fortress of Saint Ivan. Kotor is known for its nightlife and has many restaurant and bars. Kotor is a beautiful town winding streets and towering hillside. We totally enjoyed our tour and learnt a lot from Bogdon. Kotor is also know for its cats, there are cats everywhere walking the streets and basking in the sunshine, it is said that cats brings good luck to the people of Kotor.
We had a Great tour guide will use him again. His English was engaging. He kept my attention with knowledge and humor. Very interesting and detailed facts regarding Kotor and the country of Montenegro.
Ivana is the absolute best guide. She was so patient and understanding even with the younger kids who got tired and got fussy during the tour. Its a great highlight tour of Kotor old town but if you’re looking for a more in depth tour this is likely to not satisfy. It was perfect for me as my family had young children and aged parents
Beautiful lot town and worth getting a guided tour. So much to see and do either do a quick boat trip or sit in one of the many cafes / restaurants and enjoy the scenery.
