A primeira etapa do nosso dia, depois de ter passado por encantadoras aldeias de montanha durante quase 2 horas, faremos uma curta paragem de cerca de 30 minutos para admirar e dar um pequeno passeio ao longo da costa das águas cristalinas do Lago Auronzo, que também graças à cadeia de montanhas Marmarole, nos dê as boas-vindas às Dolomitas. Um dos aspectos mais interessantes do Lago Auronzo é sua história geológica. O lago foi formado por uma geleira que esculpiu uma bacia profunda no vale durante a última era glacial, deixando para trás uma paisagem de tirar o fôlego que continua a atrair visitantes de todo o mundo. O Lago Auronzo é o maior lago de Cadore, com uma superfície de cerca de 1,7 km2.
No coração das Dolomitas, onde respiraremos o ar da montanha, haverá nossa segunda parada após 30 minutos de viagem. O Lago Misurina é um lago alpino natural, o maior de Cadore. As características climáticas particulares do ar ao redor do lago o tornam particularmente adequado para pessoas que sofrem de doenças respiratórias. Aqui terá tempo para passear à volta da lagoa ou, em alternativa, poderá desfrutar de um almoço opcional nas várias cabanas e restaurantes, degustando pratos típicos da serra enquanto admira os esplêndidos picos montanhosos. O Lago Misurina está localizado a uma altitude de 1.754 metros acima do nível do mar e é cercado por belos picos montanhosos, incluindo o Tre Cime di Lavaredo, que faz parte das Dolomitas. O lago tem uma profundidade máxima de 5 metros e cobre uma área de aproximadamente 0,14 quilômetros quadrados. Durante nossa jornada de 20 minutos, faremos uma pequena pausa para admirar nossa terceira parada. O Lago Dobbiaco é um pequeno lago alpino cercado por florestas e montanhas, com águas cristalinas e uma praia rochosa. O lago é caracterizado por suas águas cristalinas que refletem o extraordinário ambiente natural. O lago está localizado na província do Tirol do Sul, no nordeste da Itália, e fica perto da fronteira austríaca. O lago está localizado exatamente na fronteira entre dois parques naturais: o parque natural Tre Cime e o parque natural Fanes - Sennes e Braies. A bacia tem um volume estimado de 286.000 metros cúbicos e um perímetro de aproximadamente 4,5 quilômetros. O lago Dobbiaco é um dos poucos exemplos de prados de água (uma zona húmida) existentes nos Alpes. É alimentado por vários pequenos riachos e é drenado pelo rio Rienza.
Na quarta etapa da nossa viagem, depois de percorrer mais 20 minutos, chegamos ao extremo nordeste da Itália a poucos quilômetros da fronteira com a Áustria para uma visita ao famoso lago de Braies. É considerado um dos lagos mais famosos e fotografados da península italiana. É uma bacia de água cor de esmeralda, cercada pelos picos das Dolomitas. O Lago Braies é conhecido por suas águas verde-azuladas límpidas, cercadas por uma paisagem espetacular de picos altos, florestas densas e prados floridos. O lago tem uma profundidade de 36 metros e é alimentado por numerosos pequenos riachos que descem das montanhas circundantes. Chegamos à última etapa de nossa jornada após cerca de 1 hora. Cortina d'Ampezzo é cercada pelas Dolomitas em 360°. É uma estância desportiva de grande prestígio e um destino privilegiado para férias. Famosa pelos Jogos Olímpicos de Inverno de 1956 e pelos próximos Jogos Olímpicos de 2026. Aqui você pode desfrutar de um passeio pelas ruas do centro, o coração pulsante das compras de Cortina entre lojas de artesanato e boutiques exclusivas. No final da nossa última etapa, aguardam-nos mais 2 horas de viagem para regressar ao ponto de partida. Cortina d'Ampezzo é um dos destinos de esqui mais famosos do mundo. A cidade sediou as Olimpíadas de Inverno em 1956 e tem sido um destino favorito para esquiadores e praticantes de snowboard desde então. A cidade tem uma história rica que remonta aos tempos romanos e foi um importante centro comercial e comercial na Idade Média. No final do século 19 e início do século 20, Cortina d'Ampezzo tornou-se um destino popular devido à sua beleza natural.

Dolomite tour was absolutely amazing. Our organizer, Vera personalized our experience. She was extremely thoughtful and responsive. Our tour guide, Dani was fantastic as well. He catered the tour to meet our needs. He was personable, friendly, humorous and enjoyable to spend the day with. Everything they suggested was perfect. The views, restaurants, picture locations, and route was so well planned out we didn’t want our experience to end. The Dolomites tour is a must see/do when visiting Italy.
Amazing visit to the Dolomites! It’s a long day but the scenery and beauty was so fantastic. Vera was fantastic and was very proactive with letting us know all the details for our trip beforehand. Our driver, Daniel, was a pleasure to spend the day with. He had excellent recommendations along the way and made sure we were comfortable and safe at all times. Highly recommend!
We booked this trip of a lifetime and everything was so easy. They went above and beyond to show us the beautiful Dolomites in a day. Max, our driver, was very courteous and thoughtful and helped make our dream vacation truly special.
We had a wonderful day in the Dolomites with our driver, Dani! Vera made the entire tour easy to book and communication was great. We got to experience 5 different stops, and it was an awesome way to see the mountains and beautiful lakes in such a short amount of time. The drive was very comfortable, and because the tour was private, we got to do everything at our own pace, which was great with our child. We really enjoyed the audio guide along the way that told us about each of the lakes and towns we were stopping at. Overall, it was one of our favorite days out of our trip to Italy. If you are in Venice, I highly recommend taking a day to explore the mountains!
My husband and I did a private tour with Max as our driver. The first thing I want to mention for people considering this tour is Max does not talk a lot. It is a long day of driving. It's over 2 hours of driving to the first stop and around 3 hours back to Venice from the last stop. If you are people that like to yap with your guide and have the day completely narrated then I suggest you ask for a different driver from the tour operator after booking. Having said that - my husband and I were totally fine not having our ears talked off for the day. We do a lot of private tours. Sometimes you just want to relax/nap if it's a long tour - lol! The van was comfortable, especially considering it was just 2 of us. Unfortunately, the van experienced some mechanical issues - a hose blew. We pulled over on the side of the road at a decent scenic spot. We could hear Max on the phone with the hood of the van up. Shockingly - he was able to fix it using the cork of the prosecco bottle that they had for us! Thankfully the ordeal only took about 30 min. I can't imagine what would have happened if Max couldn't fix it! All of the different lakes/sites were beautiful! We opted to take a chair lift up to the top of one of the mountains instead of sitting down for lunch. We were not really hungry at the time and wanted to see the views from a different perspective - we highly recommend the chair lift at Lago di Misurina! The Dolomites are not to be missed! This is the best way to tour the Dolomites from Venice for sure. It would be way too much driving for a tourist to do it in a day. It's also a great tour to do in the summer months because it is at least 10 degrees cooler than Venice!!

This is a veritable bargain-priced tour given its length and breadth. It is a good way to visit the Dolomites from Venice. The tour provides a printed booklet that highlights the places to be visited, and there is an audio (pre-recorded) “guide” that reads key elements to the guests. The driver is exactly that, a driver. He is not a guide. I was disappointed to discover that the “Guided Tour” meant pre-recorded information. I discussed this with the tour operators and learned that they are focused on the value element of this tour. The phrase “guided” in the title is rather misleading. I would have chosen a different tour had I understood this. I was disappointed.

The tour was outstanding. The scenery was breathtakingly stunning. Our driver Max was a workhorse. He drove 8-9 total hours, the turns in the mountains was stressful with big buses coming at us sometimes. Vera, who coordinated the trip was a rock star. Her communications was proactive and any followup was equally super responsive. We had originally planned to go to Cortina to see the Olympic rings bit, Vera suggested that traffic would be heavy and we may miss some of the stunning views so we adjusted the itinerary and so glad we did. Highly recommend this tour to couples, families, wanting to spend a day in the Dolomites and have the agenda flexible to see the sights.

Max our driver was excellent. He was always available but not intrusive. He was helpful and super professional. Vera suggested we move up a day based on the weather forecast and we’re glad we were able to make the changes in our schedule to avoid bad weather. The vehicle is a very comfortable Mercedes van, there were surprise gifts that greeted us, and everything was nicely done. We were notified ahead of time of a road closure that would prevent us from seeing one of the alpine lakes on the itinerary. Disappointing, but good to know ahead of time. We highly recommend this tour.

The Dolomites are spectacular! There is so much to see that it is really worth the cost for a private tour. We were able to go at our own pace. The walkers could walk around the lakes and the non-walkers could enjoy the view while waiting or driving to meet them. Even before the day of our tour, the tour operator was very responsive. We had been warned that it would be quite cold, but we didn’t need all the layers we brought.
