Nosso guia irá buscá-lo por volta das 8h do seu hotel ou aeroporto. Siga para a primeira parada no Centro de Reabilitação Sepilok Orang Utan. Foi criado em 1964 para devolver os "macacos órfãos de volta à natureza". O centro estava sendo administrado pela seção de animais silvestres do Departamento Florestal, que em 1988 foi aprimorada como departamento do Ministério do Turismo e Desenvolvimento Ambiental. Toda a administração e gestão foi dada ao novo Departamento de Vida Selvagem de Sabah. Às 10h, prossiga para a Plataforma B, observe o parente mais próximo do homem e os Orang Utans sendo reabilitados para se tornarem selvagens em seu habitat natural e faça uma caminhada na Floresta Diptera de Planície Tropical de Bornéu e depois assista a um documentário programado em vídeo de 25 minutos .
Em seguida, passe para o Centro de Conservação de Ursos Sol de Bornéu, promova a conservação de ursos solares em Bornéu através do bem-estar animal, conservação, reabilitação, educação e pesquisa - dando aos ursos sol capturados um lar melhor e restaurando seu direito de viver em estado selvagem, por A Criando a capacidade confiscar, reabilitar e liberar ursos órfãos e ex-cativos adequados de volta à natureza e proporcionar um ambiente de vida melhorado a longo prazo para ursos cativos que não podem ser liberados. Educar o público e conscientizar sobre esta espécie. Conseguir maior proteção para os ursos solares e seu habitat por meio de pesquisas contínuas, maior conhecimento e conscientização e maior proteção do habitat. Por fim, visite o Rain Forest Discovery Center. É a porta de entrada para conhecer a singularidade e a importância das florestas tropicais de Bornéu. Situado a 23 quilômetros da cidade de Sandakan e não muito longe do Centro de Reabilitação Sepilok, os principais destaques da RDC são suas salas de exposições, o Plant Discovery Garden, a Reserva Florestal Kabili-Sepilok, programas de educação ambiental e um pequeno lago para passeios de barco. O RDC também oferece aos visitantes a chance de se familiarizarem com a natureza por meio de seu programa Nature Experience, que inclui uma caminhada guiada ao Plant Discovery Garden, Rainforest Walk e atividades internas / externas. Depois de terminar os passeios mencionados acima, deixaremos você no aeroporto Sandakan ou em seu respectivo hotel (somente na cidade).

Driver was on time and despite some late communication looked after us very well. 40 minute drive, long lines to get in, storage lockers available. Taking a camera cost 10 ringett, no water bottles etc allowed in, phones allowed. Orangutan centre so clean and pristine. Observed nursery and then normal platform. There had been no orang-utans the day before, we had 7 including a baby. Wonderful. One walked past us on the wooden trail. Only disappointment was that there were too many people and the ones at the front of the viewing platforms stayed put the whole time instead of moving away and letting others get a good view. Would suggest some type of timed walkway in front, maybe 5 minutes, and rotate. Into sunbears centre, again lovely. Looking down on them so could only see their backs. Luckily one climbed a tree in front of us and we got a good view. Several Chinese Itourists had food bundles to throw down to the bears. Unfortunately 2 of them threw them directly on the bears head and thought it was funny. No staff accompanied them or told them off. We then went to the Rainforest Discovery Centre and wandered the beautiful grounds. Great views from the canopy tree tower and suspension bridge. There was a little more rubbish here. We had a great lunch in town. Thoroughly enjoyable day. For of us provided a rating out of 10 - 9.5, 9, 9 and 8. Recommended.
Our Driver was very friendly. The 3 activities were very good. RDC was our favourite! 🐒🦧 But to be honest, just book a Grab or Taxi. Our driver did nothing else than driving us, he waited outside and paid our entrance fee and food. Save your money…
Ruined the trip of a lifetime, I had arranged flights from Kota Kinabalu at 06:45 in the morning, meaning a very early start for my family including my 3 kids. Just past midnight, 6 hours before our flight time, the tour operator cancelled our tour. No way to contact them, even though I had paid fully in advance and booked the trip over 2 weeks in advance. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.
We had a lovely time and our driver was very helpful getting us there on time and purchasing our tickets, but honestly it would have been much more cost effective to get a Grab for the day and buy our own tickets and lunch.
We had the pleasure of having Siti as our guide on the tour. Our driver Ahmed was very friendly and picked us up from our hotel at the stated time. He then picked up Siti and from the moment we met her she was friendly, informative and a pleasure to be around. I really enjoyed chatting to her as we walked around the Ornagutan rescue, the sun bear sanctuary and the rainforest discovery centre. She also told us useful information and interesting facts. She wasn’t too overbearing and knew when to just let us chat amongst ourselves. By the end of the day we all felt very glad that we’d met her! Would definitely recommend both Siti and Ahmed, together the dream team! And of course seeing the animals and especially the orangutans close up was incredible.
We had the most amazing & knowledgable tour guide & a wonderful driver. We enjoyed our time with them. We could not have asked for better. City (guide) & Georgia (driver).

We tried to contact them prior to confirm the pickup location but they did not respond . We even contacted Viator who also could not get in contact with them. On the day we waited for them to pick us up but no one came. We then contacted Viator and filed a complaint. After the complaint they finally got back to us and basically lied by saying they were waiting for us at the hotel.
Amazing tour got to see lots of wildlife with an awesome guide and driver Sitti and JaJa, Cannot recommend enough, lunch was fantastic also, a must do tour if you come to Sandakan
