A história de Portovenere é longa e interessante, remonta ao século I aC, mas a maioria das pessoas simplesmente gosta do charme. As principais atrações são a imponente igreja de São Pedro do século XIII, com suas impressionantes listras em preto e branco, e as casas coloridas ao longo da marina que fazem pensar em Portofino. Os amantes da literatura vão lembrar que Lord Byron nadou através do golfo de La Spezia a partir da gruta que recebeu o seu nome em visita a Percy Bysshe Shelley em 1822. Portovenere evoluiu da comunidade de pescadores durante o tempo dos romanos para a base da frota bizantina após a queda do Império Romano do Ocidente até a porta de entrada para Cinque Terre hoje: um cartão-postal vivo de um terreno verdejante situado contra o mar azul brilhante.
Vernazza é talvez a mais popular das aldeias de Cinque Terre. A área da marina é muito animada, com muitos terraços onde você pode desfrutar de um lanche ou lanche. Você provavelmente estará em Vernazza na hora do almoço (depende da hora da coleta), e há muitos bons restaurantes com frutos do mar e o excelente vinho branco local. De todas as aldeias de Cinque Terre, Corniglia manteve melhor seu aspecto medieval. É a única vila que fica no alto dos penhascos, inacessível por balsa. As ruas estreitas são agradáveis para passear, e um bom sorvete (sorvete) pode ser encontrado em Corniglia. Existem algumas igrejas encantadoras, mas o melhor local da vila no terraço público com vistas panorâmicas para cima e para baixo da costa.
No "Campo dei Miracoli", em Pisa, você encontrará não apenas a Torre Inclinada, mas também a catedral, o batistério e o cemitério, todos monumentos notáveis. Se você quiser entrar no campo santo ou no batistério para a demonstração acústica de uma hora e meia, os ingressos devem ser reservados com antecedência. Stefano was incredible. We really enjoyed having him with us for the day. He was very careful driving very patient with the children and very kind to us telling us lots of information about where we were . He was prompt and very courteous. We definitely recommend this to everyone.

We were wanting to see the Cinque Terre for many years. We decided that this year, during our 42nd wedding anniversary it was a great time to see it. Our guide, Paolo, was wonderful! He was very informative, a great driver, spoke English and made it fun!! We will remember him always & recommend this trip to anyone who is wanting to see the area.

Incredible views and hit some beautiful areas. Our guide was fun and interesting and knowledgeable. Was also very flexible with timing and where we wanted to go.
There is no tour guide - just basically a driver. We signed up with what I thought was a trip to Pisa and 3 villages in Cinque Terre. The day before received a call from the tour company that we signed up for a tour out of the wrong port (we were on a cruise ship) therefore we would not be able to go to Pisa because of the distance- just the 3 villages in Cinque Terre and because it was late notice, we couldn’t reschedule or get a refund for not being able to complete the whole tour. The driver was very nice and courteous and did his best to answer any questions we had. The tour was good if you basically just want a driver - but if you are looking for someone to give you a little knowledge of the area and the sites, this tour is not for you.
Michelle, Thanks for your feedback. I take issue with a couple of your points, however, which I will respond to for the benefit of anyone who might be considering this service. The tour is advertised as having an English-speaking driver. A separate tour guide is not included. The basic information that your driver gave you is really all you need to know. What you got was precisely what is outlined in the description. Seeing as you booked a service from the wrong port and didn't even notice until our fleet manager caught the error, it appears you might not have been paying enough attention to the information presented. We did not have any discussion about rescheduling, which I suppose is only logical, seeing as you're on a cruise ship. I don't know what sort of refund you would have expected. It was you who made the mistake when you made your booking; you booked Easy Cinque Terre & Pisa from LIVORNO, but we don't offer that service from La Spezia. We substituted the closest thing, after we discussed it and you were in agreement. I don't see how we can be found at fault with respect to this. Because time was short, I suggested keeping your booking as it was instead of going through all the girations to cancel and rebook it through Viator. I made the adjustments on our side, saving you a bunch of time and hassle. It also saved you money, as I explained to you on the phone. In light of the fact that we bent over backward to rectify an error that was not ours in a satisfactory way -- with your consent , and in a way that also saved you time, hassle, and money -- I have to confess I'm a bit perplexed by your review, but I thank you again for the opportunity to have an exchange that might benefit the next client. Fernando, our driver, was excellent, getting us to the sites quickly and efficiently. Was very accommodating to all our requests. The tour was great, with very picturesque locations. The whole family really enjoyed the experience, would definitely recommend.
A lot of incline walking up and down and cobblestone roads did not make for easy travel for two elderly relatives (and Easy was the reason we chose this for a family tour.)
Loved this tour. Our driver was AMAZING! Valeria navigated the roads wonderfully. She told us sites to see at the cities. Highly recommend
