O tour The Diamond agora também inclui um tour de Pretória. Pretória, Monumento Voortrekker e edifícios da União. Para a mina de diamantes. NB. Somente sapatos fechados são permitidos como sapatos etc. Por favor, traga o seu passaporte. O passeio dá-lhe a oportunidade de aprender sobre a África do Sul durante o século 18 e como os Holandês descobriram o país do ouro. Eu também lhes darei minhas experiências como terceira geração sul-africana e a transformação de nosso país na nação do arco-íris. Uma visita à superfície da famosa mina de diamantes, veja de onde vêm os diamantes da Rainha da Inglaterra e onde se encontram alguns dos maiores diamantes do mundo. Há uma apresentação informativa antes de ir para o tour da superfície que é de 2 horas de duração. Nós agora também incluímos Pretória CBD e Hatfield nossa cidade universitária. A mina de diamantes é um lugar incrível onde o maior diamante do mundo foi encontrado. O diamante foi então dado à Rainha da Inglaterra como presente do nosso presidente da África do Sul, Paul Kruger. O Surface Tour está disponível de segunda a domingo por R150. Este passeio tem apenas 2 horas de duração
O maior museu do Hemisfério Sul e recentemente reformado. Junte-se a nós enquanto o levamos de volta aos primeiros colonos brancos que construíram um dos países mais ricos do mundo. O museu possui exemplares fantásticos de carroças de boi, equipamentos, artefatos e réplicas de estilo de vida em geral. Se você tem algum interesse na história da África do Sul, este passeio é obrigatório. Seu guia tem amplo conhecimento do museu e das residências e estudou em Pretória. Uma breve visita de 1 hora aos escritórios do governo. O arquiteto Sir Herbet Baker projetou este edifício incrível que se tornou uma estrutura icônica da qual a África do Sul tem muito orgulho. Há também uma enorme estátua de Nelson Mandela com opções fotográficas.
Um passeio pela cidade para lhe dar uma idéia da vida urbana no distrito comercial central. Também passamos por Hatfield, nossa cidade universitária.

Amazing experience with Shane. A good blend of professional and ethical values. He has good knowledge of history, etiquettes, places to visit, which normally other guides do not share with tourists.

The day trip was outstanding. The 2 hour surface tour of the Cullinan diamond mine was good , and the little village interesting with great coffee. We saw the major sites of Pretoria with our guide’s stories about growing up there. The Voortrekker Monument and museum were very interesting with Shane’s commentary about the history and displays, and his inside knowledge. Great views from the top. Shane is an excellent guide , very pleasant all day and gave us lots of interesting history, facts and stories about South Africa. The drive passed quickly as he answered our questions. Good value, a highlight of my time in Johannesburg, highly recommended.,

It’s only a transfert ! The mine is stopping, we saw nothing. Be careful, IT’S NOT A UNDERGROUND TOUR When we reserved, we thought it was but no ! Don’t trust photos Shaine is a good guy.
Thankyou Vincent for the comments. Unfortunately when you booked you did not read about the tour. It specifically states that it is a 2 hour surface tour. I'm surprised that you blame me for not reading what you booked for and then give me a 1 star rating. Very unfair. The mine is not stopping. When you explained that you only look at photos I offered you a free tour of Pretoria, that you declined. Anyway I wish you all the best and enjoy South Africa The tour as advertised: Come and see where the Queen of England's diamond's came from and where some of the largest diamonds in the world are found. There is an informative presentation before going on the the surface tour that is 2 hours in duration Surface Tour 2 Hours R 150 Mondays to Sunday 10 am and 12 Option Costs between R100 and R150. We enjoyed visiting Cullinan mine with Shane. Everything was well organised and run. We had a nice lunch in nearby coffee shop suggested by Shane. It was a short, but enjoyable trip. We highly recommend this tour whilst staying in South Africa.

This was a truly outstanding tour. Cullinan (now Petra) Mines was very interesting and my guide was an excellent host - very friendly, personable and helpful. He deserves to be congratulated. The mine’s guide was also very knowledgeable. I have travelled around the world several times and found this tour amongst the very best.

What a fun tour and our driver Shane was great. The tour ended a little early and Shane went above and beyond driving us around showing us different sites.

We really enjoyed the surface and underground tour of the historic Cullinan diamond mine near Joburg, South Africa. The guide Leo was a former manager of underground mining and very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The tour was easy physically and very informative. We really appreciate Petra allowing these tours to take place.
