Este campo especial dá-nos a oportunidade de partilhar com os locais, conhecer os seus ofícios, experimentar frutas da época (manga, pitaia, melancia, banana...), veremos até algumas plantações e animais.
Faremos um tour pela cidade, visitaremos o mercado municipal, onde os cariocas compram frutas e roupas. Também veremos um campo de beisebol e uma bela vista da cidade.
A República Dominicana é conhecida pelo cacau, aqui aprenderemos como se fazem chocolates com diferentes sabores a partir desta fruta.
Neste local podemos conhecer as belas praias e saber porque é tão visitado.

E&J contract their tours out. So the reviews you read vary, depending on who you get. I communicated with them a great deal before the trip and the tour guide was not aware of any of our communications. We were a large group so needed two vehicles. Unfortunately one vehicle got an English speaker who gave a bit more information versus us who had a driver. Mind you, he tried, but admittedly doesn’t speak English very well and that impacted our trip because even though neither guy was giving a “tour” our driver struggled to answer questions. Essentially, we had a driver and I think you can get a driver at a much better price.

From the moment I arrived to the designated area I was received by a warm welcome from one of the owners of the company. Communication via email was 💯 professional and on a timely manner. They answered all my questions. I found this company via a YouTuber who recommended private cruise excursions. Alan, our tour guide treated us like family. He went out of his way to make us feel welcomed and safe! If you see something along the way and ask them to stop to take a picture. They will don’t that. Excursions from the cruise won’t do that for you. You follow their itinerary. With this company you can customize what you want. The experience I had was amazing! I felt like a local! Puerto Plata has very nice people! Words can’t express our experience. The price was very fair. Got more bang for the buck! Do not hesitate to book with them. They are a legit company and won’t rip you off. You will have to put a down payment to reserve via PayPal. Everything is 💯. Ask for Alan . You will not regret it. But I’m 💯 positive that who ever you get will be amazing. It’s a family owned business and that’s how they will treat you.

Our driver Elian was amazing. He took us to a rural area which was our favorite part of the tour. We got to learn their daily lifestyle and try local cuisine. He then took us to the city for great sight seeing. His knowledge of the area and experienced driving made our tour very relaxing. We were able to optimize all of our tour destinations within our alloted time frame. The chocolate and Rum factory were both great stops.

Kelvin was an amazing tour guide. He adapted the experience to be exactly what we needed and wanted as the day went on. We met his family and saw how DR people live. We visted landmarks and historical places, the city centre, and found our DR geocache. Highly recommend doing this excursion with Kelvin.
