Zack was an excellent tour guide who was very informative, and showed us a great tour around Kyoto hitting all the main attractions. He also took pictures of us and shared them with us after the trip, highly recommend this private tour.

The only way to travel and enjoy your day. Our guide Zack safely drove us to places we wanted to visit and he shared all the history and culture details of each venue. Traveling with mobility challenges is difficult but Zack knew all the best places to park, locations of elevators, sloped pathways and best ways to tour with mobility challenges. He was attentive and concerned with our comfort and safety. He also chose a great place for us to enjoy lunch. After our wheelchair broke beyond repair, Zack went above and beyond as he found us a store we could purchase an affordable wheelchair on the way back to our cruise ship. He even graciously offered to properly dispose of the broken wheelchair after he returned us to port. It was our fortunate day that we had Zack to not only provide the best tour service ever, but to also personally care for us when we needed extra help. Mahalo Nui Loa

Simple the best! Private tours are the way to go to avoid the huddled masses of a shore excursion through the cruise line. Our driver and guide Zack communicated with us on pick up spot and time - no waiting, he was there. Really the best way to tour what you want to see and do - Zack was professional and friendly, easy to talk with and enjoy the day together. As we traveled around Zack shared with us the stories and history of our venues we wanted to see. Traveling with mobility issues is a challenge but Zack was there to assist in every way describing the terrain and he knew all the easy paths and elevators! Zack went way out of his way as our personal wheelchair had broken and fell apart. As we visited the Kimono museum, he called around until he found us a store that we could purchase a new wheelchair. On the way back to the ship he took us into the store, assisted us with the purchase and worked with us to unpack it, get it together and he took our old chair away for proper disposal. Authentic Japanese experience with Zack. Fluent in English, comfortable car, kind, courteous, knowledgeable and very accommodating. Can’t recommend him enough. He made us feel that none of our requests were too much and shifted his itinerary for us to experience local treasures over big sites when we asked for the them. He kept us away from the crowds in Kyoto. We will definitely hire him again when we go back for more cultural experiences in beautiful and fascinating Japan. He books other tours in Japan as well. We’ve just returned from our first trip to Japan, and one of the absolute highlights was the two-day excursion organised and guided by Zack. On the first day, we travelled from Kobe to Osaka and Kyoto, followed by a local Kobe tour on the second day. Zack planned everything exceptionally well, taking into account our interests and the very limited time we had. The experience was amazing, educational, and truly unforgettable. Over those two days, we learned so much about Japanese culture and history. More importantly, we had the rare opportunity to see Japan through the eyes of a local—something that simply isn’t possible when visiting attractions on your own. After this experience, we’re already eager to return to Japan and continue exploring this fascinating country and its rich culture.
