Nosso passeio começará com uma reunião no lobby do seu hotel ou em um ponto de encontro designado se o seu hotel não estiver na área. Começaremos nossa caminhada de 6 km no caminho principal do Centro de Visitantes de Petra, passando pelo Siq até o Tesouro. Em seguida, vamos caminhar até uma montanha para uma vista panorâmica do teatro, seguido de visitas às tumbas reais, Colonnaded Street e Qasr Al-Bint. Esta parte do passeio normalmente leva cerca de 3 horas, dependendo do seu ritmo, com um mínimo de 2,5 horas. Por favor, note que a escalada para o mosteiro não está incluída neste itinerário. No entanto, podemos discutir visitá-lo no final do passeio. Se você quiser visitar o mosteiro, você precisará subir 850 degraus. Alternativamente, você pode retornar ao Centro de Visitantes através do caminho principal, que leva cerca de 1 a 1,5 horas. We had the best experience with Bassil on our first visit to Petra. He made a long day of walking easy and it was clear from the start how much he enjoyed his job and how knowledgeable he was about the area. Absolutely one of our favorite guides of the trip- he got us through some big sites in the first three hours and then gave us his recommendations for the rest of the day. Truly lived up to all our hopes and we can’t stop recommending Petra to be added to everyone’s travel wish list immediately! Given the conflict in the region, we had the site mostly to ourselves. It was amazing for us, but sad to see for the local economy. Everyone should stop questioning it and just book! Amazing experience.

Bassil was such a wonderful guide - friendly and personable. Our conversations were so enlightening, not only about Petra, but Jordan, and the differences between our countries, be it education, homes, energy and more. Highly, highly recommend. As a side note, we travelled during March 2026, and nearly had Petra to ourselves due to reduced tourism due to the conflict in the Middle East - we felt very safe and would encourage others that are considering a visit to go.
We had an excellent experience with our private tour guide Bassil in Petra. From the very start, he was professional, punctual, and extremely knowledgeable about the history, culture, and hidden details of the site. Walking through the Siq and seeing the Treasury with his explanations truly brought Petra to life in a way we would have missed on our own. He paced the tour perfectly, making sure we saw the major highlights while also tailoring the experience to our interests and energy level. He was attentive, patient, and always happy to answer questions, offering insightful stories and context throughout the day. His local knowledge also helped us avoid the busiest crowds and discover some quieter viewpoints and photo spots. Highly recommend him.

We did this with a 5 year old and 3 year old (my 5 yo had a broken collarbone at the time and was in a sling). We loved it, wonderful experience. Words can’t describe Petra well enough, you have to try it for yourself. But it is amazing, and people are incredible friendly. Thanks to our guide Bassil who was knowledgeable and patient. Try the camels and donkeys if you can too!
