O museu está aberto diariamente das 9h às 17h (última entrada às 16h) e está fechado às segundas-feiras. Cada dia é dividido em três intervalos de tempo de admissão: 9: 00–11: 00, 11: 00–13: 30 e 13: 30–16: 00. No dia da visita, os visitantes devem apresentar o passaporte original usado para a reserva juntamente com o código QR do bilhete de todos, e entrar através da entrada do visitante North Gate durante o fuso horário reservado. Os visitantes sem uma reserva, informações de passaporte não correspondem, ou perder a sua fila de tempo reservado não será permitido entrar. POR FAVOR, VÁ AO MUSEU PRIMEIRO! PORQUE SE VOCÊ ESTÁ ATRASADO, O MUSEU NÃO VAI DEIXÁ-LO ENTRAR! Depois do museu, visite a Praça Tiananmen pelo código QR do museu. O bilhete é inalterável e não reembolsável 24 horas antes do dia da visita!!! Os viajantes com ID Chinês ou passaporte não podem reservar. Mesmo se você reservou, pediremos que você o cancele, já que o museu pediu Chinês para reservar por conta própria em seu site. Este é apenas para uso estrangeiro.

The Chinese National Museum is simply huge. It is impossible to see all the exhibition halls in one day. Although it is recommended everywhere to visit the Hall of "Ancient China" (until the Qing Dynasty), this is also recommended to everyone else and anyone who has ever been to a Chinese museum knows the exhibition somehow. I found the "small" halls much more interesting, e.g. the "Hall of the Ancient Buddhas". The museum is worth a visit, especially if you are off the beaten track 😉.
This took the stress out of me poking tickets to Tiananmen Square and the National museum of China. The Q4 codes where delivered a few days before, and the instructions where clear and easy to follow. National Museum was amazing- a must for anyone with an interest in history and culture - and Tiananmen Square is such an historically important place - very glad I got to experience both.
This ticket worked exactly as expected! Despite only one review, and tickets to the national museum being sold out on the official site and trip.com, I did not have any problem using my passport to enter tiananmen or the QR code to enter the museum. Be ready to show the confirmation screen several times since the QR code does not include National Museum reservation details, and they will want to see this at multiple pre-check points.

The Museum is amazing. Very busy so get there early. The queue was quite short (just before 9am) you need to scan your passport, & code & there's a bag check. Code came through promptly & all was straight forward. The museum has lots of info in English & was a fascinating look at Ancient China (B1). I came out of the museum straight into Tiananmen Square, (which is huge). Full of historical / political importance. A great day. Would recommend.
