Prêmio vencedor "De fazenda a mesa, um dia culinário em Lyon"

From beginning to end, this was a perfect day out. We were a group of 10 friends. We were hosted, guided and driven by Aldric and Thomas from Beaujolais Insiders, who were both knowledgeable and passionate about the wine region of Beaujolais and its scenery, taking us on a beautifully planned and executed tour of the region by vintage land rovers. Every stop was interesting and enjoyable. We got a chance to visit local producers and wine growers. Beaujolais insiders take their work seriously but do it with a smile and a lot of charm. The day ended with light a lunch of local delicacies and - wine. Absolutely recommended !!

This was an amazing experience where we visited three very interesting lovely farms, poultry, vegetables, and finally sheep. We ate lunch at a lovely little French restaurant, and then went to a farm store. We were able to buy some of the products that we had seen earlier in the day. We bought products that we took to a beautiful historic home where we met up with a very experienced chef and proceeded to create a true farm to table dinner. Aldric and chef Michael were exceptional at what they do.

This was by far the most wonderful tour I have ever been on. It was a true farm to table experience! We visited a poultry farm, an organic vegetable farm and a sheep farm and observed their sheep, milk cheese and yogurt making operation and sampled their cheeses. Then we had a delicious French lunch at a small quaint restaurant in a local village. then one final stop at a local farm co-op where we bought products from the farms we had visited . We would use them in our cooking class later in the day. We met with a local chef who welcomed us into a beautiful 18th century building once used by Napoleon’s mistress! We made a delicious multicourse dinner. Chef Michael was knowledgeable and very easy to work with. I learned so much from him. It truly was a great experience today.

Can’t explain how amazing this experience was, especially with our insider Aldric . This was such an original but also instructive and human experience, I recommend it strongly and without any hesitation. Thank you Insiders !

We spent an extraordinary day between Lyon and Beaujolais. After a meeting with local producers who made us discover their passion and the terroir in the morning, we had the privilege of tasting a delicious machon in a beautiful castle in Beaujolais. The afternoon and evening continued in a beautiful apartment in the center of Lyon, where we could cook the products bought in the morning alongside a private chef who accompanied us in the elaboration of personalized recipes for dinner, with a food and wine pairing. A memorable experience that I will definitely recommend, to do as a couple, family or friends!

What an experience! We met inspiring farmers and even picked the products ourselves before heading back to cook with Arthaud, a great and friendly chef. His flat is just amazing! Thank you, Insiders, for this unique experience — the perfect mix of discovering the countryside, meeting locals, and enjoying a cooking class. I highly recommend it!
