Join a cozy small-group Douro cruise (max 7) from Douro Marina, near the fishing village of Afurada. Over ~2 hours, discover Porto from the river as we sail beneath its iconic bridges and along the historic waterfronts of Ribeira and Vila Nova de Gaia. On board, enjoy an informal tasting of 4 quality Port wines from small Douro producers, curated with Blend.pt, served with tiny pairings to highlight each glass (not a meal). Music, Wi-Fi, restroom and warm blankets on cooler days included. No crowds, no microphones — just a relaxed atmosphere, conversation, and Porto’s beauty, the AlmaDouro way.

Douro Marina; Começamos a nossa viagem na Douro Marina,na pitoresco e tradicional vila da Afurada.
Projetada pelo arquiteto italiano Nicolau Nasoni, a Torre dos Clérigos, com mais de 75 metros de comprimento, foi finalizada em 1763. Inicialmente sua função era ser uma torre sineira, mas ao longo dos anos também acabou por ser utilizada como marco de orientação para embarcações, além de ponto estratégico para combates militares. A visita à Torre dos Clérigos inclui um percurso de 225 degraus até o topo onde poderá desfrutar da vista panorâmica da cidade do Porto e Gaia.
É uma ponte em estrutura metálica com dois tabuleiros, construída entre os anos 1881 e 1886, ligando as cidades do Porto e Vila Nova de Gaia separadas pelo rio Douro.

O Mosteiro da Serra do Pilar é uma austera Igreja do século XVII. é Classificado pela Unesco como Património Mundial desde 1996. A Igreja, classificada como Monumento Nacional, realça-se pela planta circular, coberta por uma imponente abóbada hemisférica, rodeada por um varandim e coroada por um lanternim. No interior, salientam-se os trabalhos em talha dourada e branca. Conserva um belo claustro, igualmente classificado como Monumento Nacional, com abóbada circular com nervura central apoiada em 36 colunas jónicas. Este mosteiro maneirista é um exemplar único em Portugal, visto que a igreja e o claustro são de planta circular, modelo este proveniente da arquitetura civil. A sua localização geográfica foi crucial em 1809, aquando das invasões pelas tropas napoleónicas e em 1832-33 enquanto base militar durante as lutas liberais. Elevado à categoria de fortaleza foi convertido desde então em quartel militar
A Ponte de D. Maria Pia é uma infraestrutura ferroviária, que transportava a Linha do Norte sobre o Rio Douro, entre as cidades do Porto e Vila Nova de Gaia, no Norte de Portugal. Foi inaugurada em 4 de Novembro de 1877 e foi encerrada em 24 de Junho de 1991, tendo sido substituída pela Ponte de São João. É considerada, junto com o Viaduto de Garabit, como as maiores obras-primas executadas pelo engenheiro Gustave Eiffel Na altura da sua inauguração, era a ponte com o maior arco em ferro do mundo.[Está classificada como Monumento Nacional desde 1982.
Com 66,35 ha, a Reserva Natural Local do Estuário do Douro, situa-se na margem sul da foz deste rio, próximo da vila piscatória da Afurada, englobando o Cabedelo e a baía de São Paio, onde existe um sapal. Entre os valores naturais que protege, o destaque vai para as aves que aqui vivem ou por aqui passam e que podem ser facilmente observadas, dado situar-se no corredor migratório conhecido como "Rota do Atlântico Este”.

Incredible experience! What a lovely boat with amazing hosts. We loved cruising the river, seeing Porto from the water, and tasting some fine port wines. Nadia and Paulo were extremely hospitable and even gave my two-year-old his own "wine" (juice) and snacks to share in the experience. They also made sure to have a life jacket available for him, which was important to us. Could not recommend this enough. Lovely, intimate experience where you're treated as one of the family. Major plus was having one of the best port tastings you could ask for!

We didn’t have an idea of how the tour would be and were happily surprised. We were greeted by our hosts Nadia and her husband and immediately were presented with warm reception. When we were onboard were accommodated and made feel as if it were the boat owners and they were there to sail boat for us while we relaxed and took in the scenery. They provided a delicious port wine tonic cocktail as a welcome drink which was absolutely delicious and refreshing. The provided a lot of history of the region and six bridges on the Dourous River. We were also presented with a great charcuterie board and other delicious port wine tonic. They had warm blankets to shelter us from the cold weather. A very lovely and hospitable couple. Thank you both for giving us such an amazing experience.

We were in Porto in November, a bit unlucky with bad weather, on the day of the cruise on the Douro river we arrive at the meeting point and we discover that we are the only two participants. We thought we'd be asked to cancel or move, and instead we left anyway. It was a beautiful and surreal experience, very few boats on the river, at one point we were the only ones with the whole view to ourselves. The weather also graced us and we were able to enjoy part of the trip outside, sipping port wine and relaxing. It was a really nice experience. Thanks to Nadia and Paulo who treated us divinely, two very kind, nice and super professional people!

This was THE best port tasting experience I had (I did 3 while in Porto). This husband and wife team really know what they are doing. She thoughtfully paired the different ports with foods that enhanced the flavor. No boring lectures here. And as we passed landmarks little anecdotes were told, very endearing. Even though there were no sunsets to be seen, this is THE port tasting experience in Porto. Thank you Nadia and Paulo!

We had a wonderful time on this sunset boat tour in Porto! We sat on the outside seating on the boat and were very comfortable, when it got colder we were immediatly offered blankets. It felt like the whole experience was well planned and thought through. The views of the city from the water were stunning, and the experience was made even better with a delicious cheeseboard, drinks, and a lovely port wine tasting. The couple who run the tour are so warm and welcoming, and they also share interesting explanations about the landmarks along the river, which made the ride even more special. Generaly the whole experience felt very personal and authentic – truly a highlight of our trip and highly recommended!

It was amazing! The staff was very friendly and welcoming. They feel comfortable saying the boat is like ours. The ride was perfect and the boat very comfortable! I recommend 100%!!!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience on the boat ride! Nadia and Paulo were so kind and amazing to my partner and I! They provided wonderful drinks and a delicious snack platter! The boat ride was so relaxing and watching the sunset was amazing! They even provided us with cozy blankets to get comfortable! We saw all the highlights and bridges and Nadia was extremely knowledgeable of all the history! I Overall was an amazing experience and would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to do this!
