Nosso passeio começa em Camí de la Escollera em frente à Catedral de Palma por volta das 09:15 hrs. Palma foi fundada como um acampamento romano sobre os restos de um assentamento talaiótico. A cidade foi submetida a vários ataques vândalos durante a queda do Império Romano do Ocidente, depois reconquistada pelo Império Bizantino, depois colonizada pelos mouros (que a chamavam de Medina Mayurqa) e, no século XIII, por Jaime I de Aragão.
Soller é uma bela vila localizada a três quilômetros do Porto na costa nordeste de Maiorca e é conhecida como o centro comercial e cultural da Serra de Tramontana. Ele emerge de um vale cercado por montanhas chamado 'el valle de Los Naranjos' (o vale das laranjeiras) e a bela praça central, que é o principal ponto de encontro da vila, é cercada por muitas pequenas ruas de paralelepípedos. À chegada a Sóller, o centro comercial e cultural da Serra, somos recebidos pela praça principal de Sóller, que é perfeita para sentar num terraço e observar a igreja de San Bartolomé e o edifício do Banco de Sóller.
O Porto de Sóller é um belo porto natural localizado no noroeste da ilha e um importante centro de interesse turístico. Um pequeno tesouro cobiçado em tempos remotos por corsários que nos oferece uma paisagem irrepetível em que o cheiro da flor de laranjeira se mistura com o aroma do mar. O porto e a cidade de Sóller estão ligados por um antigo bonde de madeira que preserva toda a sua estética e decoração original e que podemos admirar enquanto passeamos pelo animado passeio marítimo do porto.
Em 4 de outubro de 1913, foi inaugurada a primeira linha de bonde elétrico em Maiorca, que circulava entre Sóller e Puerto de Sóller. A construção do bonde Sóller começou após a inauguração da linha ferroviária Palma-Sóller. O projeto desta linha foi idealizado e dirigido por Pedro Garau, e foram lançados 4.868 metros de via. Destaca-se a ponte de ferro sobre o Torrent Major. No início, o bonde tinha uma usina localizada na estação Sóller que era alimentada por um motor de explosão de 65 cavalos de potência que funcionava com um dínamo Siemens-Schuckert, fornecendo uma corrente contínua de 600 volts. Embora o bonde Sóller tenha sido projetado para transportar passageiros, também foi usado para transportar mercadorias para o porto.

Carmen was fabulous! She called the day before to confirm our meeting point. During the tour she spoke to us in 4 languages to ensure all guests received the information about the tram, train and surrounding logistics. She kept track of all passengers on a variety of tour packages.

Excellent trip only negative didn't get any tme in Pt Soller only 20 minutes pretty rushed and not enough time in Soller, was booked for a 09.30 hotel received message changing to another pick up point 10 minutes away at 08.30 spent 4 hours on the coach doing other passengers pickup, enjoyed the tour and experience Sophie and driver very good, no time for toilet breaks,returned after experience to join the coach and toilet was closed, but on a positive note well worth the experience.

We traveled as a family with an elderly person with reduced mobility. Nothing indicated that there was no access for people with reduced mobility. I strongly advise against it for strollers and it is impossible for wheelchairs. Upon your arrival, welcome to the hanger games. Getting down to Puerto Soller is complicated, but getting back up ... An hour wait on the road, trams are reserved for groups and they pass in front of you, no line to shelter people with reduced mobility from the crowd. You have a ticket, but those who do not have one can also board and pay inside (10€ one way per person). No sign in the tramway regarding the maximum number of people or kg allowed. In short, you are crammed in like cattle for a 30-minute ride. At this rate (or even less), taxis are available.

Il est vrai qu'en pleine haute saison, Majorque, Sóller et les tramways sont très fréquentés en raison de leur immense beauté. Nice train ride, the train is "vintage" , we took the train+tram ticket to Soller , the tram is also "vintage" , it is not fast, we take the remps to see the landscapes that we do not necessarily see from the road, ... A good time.

So much travel time and very little time in Soller - given 30 minutes and 10 minutes was spent getting out of the station. Very rude guide ViVi would absolutely not recommend her

So booked with Jet2 Rep at the hotel...... Firstly the views were AMAZING however, the trip itself felt disjointed, unorganized and rushed. The trip cost was €62 per person, the coach was 30 minutes late In pick up and this was taken away from the time we were able to spend in the two village stops, 10 minutes allocation for the 1st village and 30 minutes for the second village. The rep was at times rude and abrupt. The tram and train were a nice experience for sightseeing however again not enough time allocated to explore the towns. NOT WORTH €62.

It was a wonderful tour!! Good thing I asked the tour operator for details where, when and time for pick up. Otherwise we would have missed the trip. That would be a recommendation.
