Caminhe pelo Fort Williams Park, lar do Portland Head Light! Um dos faróis mais fotografados do mundo! Com caminhadas em penhascos, memoriais e vistas de tirar o fôlego, você poderá tirar fotos, visitar o museu/loja de presentes "Maio-Setembro" do Farol e também comer alguma coisa em alguns dos food trucks do parque, lagosta Rolls, chowder , gelato, tortas whoopie!
Spring Point Ledge Light estacionaremos e pararemos por 10 minutos. Aqui o seu guia explicará a importância deste farol que está situado em um quebra-mar de granito de 900 pés, instalações militares do início de 1800 na área e vistas panorâmicas de nossas ilhas costeiras da Baía de Casco! Por favor, peça ao seu guia fotos tiradas durante esta parada.
Aqui no Portland Breakwater Light, conhecido como "Bug Light" pelos habitantes locais, você terá 20 minutos para visitar um dos menores faróis do Maine ainda em operação. Com belas colunas coríntias gregas, este farol está situado em um quebra-mar muito mais curto e seguro, onde você poderá caminhar e desfrutar de vistas incríveis da orla de Portland!
Quando terminarmos o nosso passeio, conduzimos pela Commercial Street, você terá um vislumbre de uma das últimas praias de trabalho da América do Norte. Este trecho icônico no bairro do Porto Velho de Portland apresenta ruas de pedras de pedra, portos de pesca do século XIX e barragens movimentadas ainda usadas por lobsters e pescarias locais. Você também verá uma mistura vibrante de boutiques, restaurantes e pubs, todos situados dentro de alguns dos mais antigos edifícios de tijolos / granito da cidade.

Great overview of Portland with visits to iconic lighthouses. Friendly local tour guide sharing valuable local information.
Bland. You get visit a few sights and neighbourhoods. Not much history. Guide was nice and friendly but mostly just a driver. M .
The lighthouse tour was great way to learn the history and see a few lighthouses to boot. Our guide was Peter and he very informative on history and shared places to eat. Peter had humorous way of sharing Portland’s history. We had enjoyed morning and I would recommend this tour.

A wonderful and informative trip. Got to see the 3 lighthouses and also got a historical perspective of the city. It was a warm day so it was good to be in an AC vehicle. Billy our tour guide was passionate about Portland which is always good to see in a guide. He was well informed of the history of Portland and we had a most pleasant trip. Would recommend it to others!

We really enjoyed our tour of three lighthouses and Joe was an excellent tour guide. There were 10 of us in our group, which was a nice size for the vehicle, and we really liked that we were able to include two lighthouses that were too small for our ship's tour buses to be able to visit.

Seeing three lighthouses around Portland was absolutely amazing! This tour however was not really a tour, there was no talk about history or culture, as the link said. This was disappointing because we were really looking forward to it. This tour is truly a drive and drop to each lighthouse. If you have transportation- you can do it yourself. If you do not have transportation- then its helpful. The guide was nice, but truly a let down.
