Tour was great. Our tour guide Mara was amazing. She was very accommodating with everyone. Would definitely recommend this tour.
Thank you so much for your kind review, Rosa! I'll pass Mara your compliments. Hope to have you back soon.
This is Italy’s best kept secret, spectacular boat tour with swimming in some of the most beautiful places on earth! Tour guide Mara was amazing and personable, she is a rockstar! I need to share this part because it was perfect, we stopped alongside a beautiful cliff where they served a pasta lunch with cold vino, brava! Then…. I’m thinking to myself how good would an espresso be right now?! The captain walks out with a fresh brew of the best espresso I’ve ever had! Perfecto!!! 5⭐️
This is the kind of review we live for! Thank you for sharing your experience - and we'll be sure to pass on your compliments to Mara. That espresso really hits the spot, doesn't it?
What a wonderful day with a terrific guide named Mara. Everything was just perfect. One of the most beautiful islands with incredible deep blue clear water. From the ride over to the boat tour and back, nothing but a pleasant and positive experience, start to finish.
Looks like you fell in love with Ponza too! So happy Mara was able to make your day just perfect. We hope to welcome you back soon one day.

Thank you so much for this wonderful review! Ponza really is one of the most beautiful islands in Italy, and that deep blue water never gets old — even for us after all these years. We're so happy the whole day felt seamless from start to finish, and we'll make sure Mara sees your kind words. She'll be thrilled! We hope to welcome you back on the water again soon. Grazie di cuore!
We got picked up at Pyramide Bar and greeted instantly with our host Mara. Ponza is a true hidden gem that takes a bit of a time to travel to. You first take approx 1 hour busride to a small picturesque city near seaside and then cross over with a ferry. The commute to Ponza itself is a bit painfully long since you spend like 2 hours commuting to the island. I was a bit surprised that we were put together with other people - we were a group of 4 but in Ponza more than 10 other guests were put on the same boat as us. It would have been nice to communicate that beforehand. Overall we really enjoyed the experience to swim and sunbathe on an open-top boat and see the scenic Ponza coastline. It was not my first time here - I actually took the same trip 2 years back with Mara and enjoyed it just as much. Last time I remember we were also visited by a gelato-taxi which I this time really missed. I would've love to get more time to explore the Ponza itself, since we had only 1 hour before the ferry was going back to the main land. Also - the lunch served on board - tunafish pasta was same as 2 years back. I did enjoyed the pasta, but if written "wine and coffee you can get free on the boat" that might be a bit misleading. I will still definitely recommend this day trip and I will definitely come back for more, probably staying on the island for a day or two seems optimal - so you don't waste time commuting so much and seeing so little. Thank you Mara for being such a sweetheart. Everything you are doing - you are doing with your heart and it shows. You truly cared about all the participants on the trip and made everyone feel welcomed.
So glad to hear you're a repeat customer! We're the same crew, different company this year — and it makes us so happy to see familiar faces coming back. Thank you for the comment about being grouped with other guests — this is a shared-group tour rather than a private one, and guests join us from different pick-up points (we have departures from Rome, Anzio, and Ponza itself), which is why the group comes together on the boat. That said, if this wasn't clear at booking, we'd genuinely love to understand where the confusion came from so we can communicate it better. On the wine and coffee — these are definitely free, with no charge at all! Perhaps what needs clarifying is that they're served during lunchtime, so we'll look at making that clearer in the description. Staying on the island for a night or two sounds like an amazing idea, and we'd love to help you plan it when you come back! Mara really does have her heart in it — thank you for noticing. We'll make sure she sees your kind words.
Bring some water with you. Though lunch was fantastic and water and wine was available at that point but not offered beforehand. Make sure you have a towel and sunscreen.
I will give your compliments to our captain/chef! Great trips, yes towel is a must, sunscreen absolutely and having water on hand when it is as hot as it has been is always a good idea. Thanks for the great tips and so happy you enjoyed the day.
That’s it is well organized and the trip amazing. The views and swimming from the boat are incredible and the pasta lunch very good
Thank you Maria for trusting us with your adventure in Ponza! The pasta lunch really hits the spot doesn't it? And swimming, especially with the heat in central Italy just can't be beat. "Amazing" is definitely an adjective we strive for. Thanks for joining us!
Wonderful day on the water. Our guide was awesome
So happy to hear it! Being on the water is the place to be, especially in Ponza. Thanks for taking the time to share your review.
An amazing, efficient and wonderful day. Valerio is a friendly scientist. Not cheap and does not include the cost.Shuttle to Ponza (60 € per person) but highly recommended
Stress free is what we are all about! Yes, the ferry ticket for our guests departing from Rome is not included in order to keep the price as low for you as possible. So happy to hear you would highly recommend a trip to Ponza with us!
Our guide was helpful and kind. We didn’t have any confusions about the trip and everything ran smoothly. The places we visited were very beautiful. A trip to remember.
Creating lasting memories is what our trips to Ponza are all about. In fact, we hope you will remember it so well you will want to come back, like so many of our friends! I'm glad to hear you found your guide to be helpful and kind and that your expectations of the trip matched up with the reality. Ponza is really so beautiful isn't it? We think it's the most beautiful place in the world! Thanks for trusting us with your special trip.
