Highly recommended. Our guide, Carl, was absolutely fantastic. Very professionnal and at the same time very funny. We felt safe and confortable all the time, even without any canoeing experience before.
We had a great experience. Harry was an exceptional guide and gave us some great local recommendations (currently sitting in Rani Kitchen). 5:30pm was a peaceful time to explore in August and would be our recommendation.
We had a brilliant experience on our tour. Tour leader Carl was really entertaining, helpful and helpful. A lovely adventure, easy enough for anyone with no canoeing experience to take part in too. Would definitely recommend.
We had a guide called Jack (amazingly from the same valley we live in) who was lovely. We had 2 canoes for a group of 4 and 2 dogs along for the ride. He was brilliant when we struggled with lots of zigzagging, but was very supportive and guided us back to the drop off point. Twas a little bum twitching over the aqueduct but such a rush. 100% recommend 🛶
Fabulous late afternoon/evening, great experience. Highly recommended it and if you are lucky enough to have Jack as your guide, he did a brilliant job, very informative and friendly!
We are a family with two Neurodiverse children, one of which has Scoliosis and Dyspraxia. Though they are teenagers we were a little nervous of them getting tired or having a meltdown and us getting stuck. Carl, came up with a great solution of tying two Canoes together. Creating a Bell boat of sorts. This made it super stable and allowed the children to join in when they felt able. It also made the experience a family one, instead of the stronger paddlers racing ahead. Carl was amazing, he understood without us explaining that my son didn't like direct communication and instead of pushing him to interact he adjusted his style accordingly. We took the early morning, 8.30am which was perfect as the river was so quiet, not so on our return. We made good time, working as a team to paddle, so we were able to stop for toilets and Ice cream when we reached the Basin by the Aqueduct. On our return my son was struggling with his back, the Canoe afforded the perfect place for him to lie down. He got to enjoy the Vista and I didn't need to struggle alone, as we were paddling as a family. Thanks for an unforgettable trip, we will definitely be making the 3hr trip back to visit again.
We were experienced canoeists but we were impressed how Jack gave simple instruction to those who were not and with how he fixed their struggles. He was friendly and funny and knowlegdeable with the history of the bridge and canal. The company was helpful in getting us to the met point. A fabulous experiance off our bucket list. Thank you Jack.
Great day canoeing across the viaduct. Jack, our guide, made the day really enjoyable and safe
Harry was a great guide. The trip was good fun and well organised. The views from the aqueduct were beautiful.
Me and my girlfriend had a great afternoon and really enjoyed the whole experience. Canoeing along the aqueduct was amazing and the views were fantastic. Emma was a brilliant guide, we had a good laugh and picked lots of blackberrys along the way.
