We had a great time with Paola and Pompeii guide. We saw all of the great spots in Pompeii, then had a delicious lunch before hiking Mt Vesuvius. The hike was moderately difficult due to how hot it was but glad we made it the whole way!

I would 100% recommend this experience to anyone who is considering it. We learned so much history from our amazing Pompeii tour guide Anna, she was very polite and knowledgeable. Our tour guide Clemente and our driver Giovanni were also fantastic, they taught us a lot of history and facts about Pompeii and Vesuvius and were there to make the experience extremely enjoyable! The trip was well rounded and very well handled, and the added lunch option is also very worth it to have a relaxing break, enjoy a lovely meal and meet people in your group. You will not regret attending this joint tour, I’d highly recommend it.

The Pompeii tour was excellent. Our guide explained everything in great detail and his passion for Pompeii really showed throughout the visit. Everyone else involved was also very helpful and friendly. The only downside was that the van's air conditioning wasn't very effective, but overall it was a great experience.

Roberta, our guide, was very perky and friendly. Our guide at Pompeii said she is not an archeologist. She was informative, but sometimes difficult to understand for an English listener. On the description it said the guide was an archeologist so just pointing out she was not. Climbing mount Vesuvius was rewarding. The lunch was very good, I agree that pizza option would have been nice. I wish that we would have had more commentary in the van as we went to and from, I think that time could have been teaching us about Naples. It was a very hot day.

Professional experience throughout. Our guide Guisy was helpful in every step. The choice of Pompeii guide was also very good. We had a good lunch at a local place after the Pompeii visit. Pick up and drop offs very good.

Our Exclusive Pompeii & Vesuvius Tour with Lunch from Naples on 14 July 2026 was a fantastic experience and one of the highlights of our trip. The tour was extremely well organised from start to finish. We were collected from our hotel in a comfortable, air-conditioned minivan, along with other guests from nearby hotels, and transported smoothly to Pompeii. On arrival, we were able to skip the ticket queue and quickly meet our tour guide before entering the archaeological site. We were provided with headsets, which made it easy to hear the guide clearly throughout the tour, even while exploring the larger areas of Pompeii. Our guide was exceptionally knowledgeable, bringing the ancient city to life with fascinating stories, historical facts and explanations of the myths surrounding Pompeii and how they still connect with modern life today. Despite his strong Italian accent, his enthusiasm, humour and passion made every part of the tour engaging and enjoyable. The temperature reached around 35°C, so the advice to bring plenty of water was essential. Our guide was excellent at looking after the group, regularly leading us to shaded areas and guiding us from one water fountain to the next to ensure everyone stayed hydrated and comfortable. His care and awareness really enhanced the experience. Due to the intense heat, we decided not to complete the climb up Mount Vesuvius, but the tour team were very accommodating and allowed us time to enjoy a pizza lunch before making an earlier return journey to our hotel. This flexibility was much appreciated after such a warm day exploring the ruins. Overall, this was a very professionally organised tour, with excellent transport arrangements, thoughtful planning and a truly engaging guide who made Pompeii fascinating, entertaining and memorable. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to experience this incredible historic site.

Great experience right from the start with Francisco picking us up and being the MC of the tour. Fernando as the driver was excellent. I would rate the restaurant as average (I am gluten free). Make sure you tell your guide in advance if you have any food preference. They also only gave us 1 drink and didn't offer any more Anna the pompei guide was really excellent. Even though her English was not 100%. Well recommended. The climb up the mountain was excellent but tough due to the gravel path and the hot weather. Overall an excellent experience

I'm a huge history nerd so I was really stoked to check out Pompeii and Vesuvius up close. We had two tour guides- our main one was Annachiara and we had a guide named Anna (I know, potentially a little confusing) for the actual ruins. Anna (who is also an archeologist) was super knowledgeable about the events surrounding the eruption in 79 and really brought the past to life by showing us details in the ruins we would not have been able to discern ourselves. Our general guide, Annachiara was so warm, organized and thoughtful. I enjoyed her personal stories about her grandmother who was a little girl when the last eruption occurred, in 1944. All in all a great time and I would absolutely recommended both guides to whoever wants to do this tour!
