The whole day was excellent! With comfortable transfers and smooth handovers between activities, it was a delight to have everything taken care of for us. The tour around Pompei and the wine tasting were both done by extremely knowledgable guides with good English, and the hike up Vesuvius was worthwhile for the views! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the full day of activities or the tour company - everything was just as we had hoped.
thanks for choosing us!
The hike up Vesuvius is strenuous but the view at the top was amazing. Frankie our tour guide at Pompeii was fantastic! He made our experience so worthwhile!!! The winery was beautiful with delicious food and wine.
The hike up to the Mt Vesuvius crater was a bit strenuous as we had a limited time to get to the top and back down, so was no leisurely stroll. Well worth the effort, though. The crater was interesting to see, and the view of Naples and the bay were amazing. It would've been nice if our driver uo to Vesuvius had given us some history or information, but he didn't have much to say. The small group tour of Pompeii was fascinating and informative. Our guide was knowledgable as well as entertaining. This part exceeded my expectations as it was so much more than just the ruins I expected. The trip to the winery was a bit less than expected. There was no wine tasting, just a meal with wine. The meal was fine, but not anything exceptional. We were given a tour of the grounds and facility which would have been nice on it's own if that's what we'd been expecting. However, after a day of climbing Mt Vesuvius and touring Pompeii, we were just ready to sit and have some wine. We were a bit tired to enjoy touring a vineyard & winery.
A must do! Visiting Pompeii with a guided tour is the absolute best way to see this historic area. Our guide Frankie was knowledgeable & entertaining… he truly brought the history to life. Absolutely 5 stars!
In a day that was outstanding, Sasa our Pompeii tour guide was over and beyond the very best! He was super knowledgeable and fantastically engaging. The hike to the very top of Mt Vesuvio was very uphill and very awesome. The lunch + wine tasting was a delicious way to sit and reminisce over our incredible day. My whole family aged 14 - 54 loved the whole day!
thank you for choosing us!!!!
A great tour to see key spots in Pompeii, see Mount Vesuvio and enjoy local wine tasting and lunch. My friend and I had a wonderful time.
thank you for choosing us!!!!
When there is a change in pick-up time, it is not reflected through the Viator app., There was a discrepancy with Tour Pompeii and the rudeness of the manager. Not everyone has good reception. However, the drivers and guides were great and the experience was fantastic for all 3 locations A little more time should have been allotted to walk up Mt. Vesuvius. We were given 1 hour which took me 30 plus minutes to walk up, take a couple pictures then walk back. Antonio at Pompeii ruins was knowledgeable and put humor in the tour.
the wine tasting hosts seemed eager to rush us through the experience, prioritizing our departure over our enjoyment.
Pompeii and Vesuvius was wonderful . The guide at Pompeii , sasa was knowledgeable and had humor. However the wine tasting was far from good . Been to many tastings and this was not nearly close to anyone of our prior experiences. Could easily omit this portion from the trip
Sasa was an excellent guide and really helped to bring the story of Pompeii to life. Our only complaint was that we didn't have more time there to explore and learn. We'll have to be back! The lunch was delicious, and the trip to Vesuvius was a great way to cap the day as well. The views were breathtaking!
