Pesca da lagoa em Bentota

We had a glorious morning on the river with our guide. He had been taught to fish on the river by his grandfather so knew all the good spots. Highly recommend this trip.

I booked this BTM activity along with a river safari and a turtle hatchery visit ahead of our family visit to Sri Lanka. Communications with Sam were clear and responsive throughout. The activities themselves once we arrived turned out to be some of the best of our holiday. In particular this lagoon fishing experience. Our guide, Harindra, worked super hard to make sure we always had a good chance of fish and we finished our morning with a mix of species which we had great fun catching. Highly recommended.

A really good mornings fishing, pick up from hotel on time 5.45am. We arrived at the beautiful illuminated Buddha and set off in the dark up river. The boat was well equipped and the skipper very knowledgeable, friendly and a great help. We managed to catch 5 trevally whilst taking in the lovely river. Kingfishers, giant bats, grey herons, eagles and a giant lizard swimming. Fantastic trip well worth the early morning start

we are very very delighted with our fishing session. Harinda is a very good guide who took us to very good locations. we had around ten fish, one very big. Really delighted with our activity ;)

Was aü very nice fishing trip. In particular, I would like to mention the boat driver Harry, who was super friendly and helped with many tips.

We had a fun day on the river with the boat. Captain was professional and we caught some nice fishes. Sam is very friendly and easy to communicate guy, he is always ready to help you!

Evening fishing on the lagoon in Bentota. We were picked up around 1630 and taken to the lagoon. Our professional fishermen were very knowledgeable, friendly & polite. First casts out we both had bites and my husband brought in a ladyfish. Mine got away! Evening time on the lagoon is a lovely time to go, not just for the fishing. We saw huge fruit bats & fish eagles! In 2 hours we caught a Jack fish & 4 ladyfish. All in all a very good experience

The team did a great job in helping our kids fish for the first time. Even the wet weather did not dampen the mood

We went fishing on 5/6/2020 in the morning. Picked up at the hotel on time by driver Sam. The boat was ready, the friendly guide looked for a good fishing spot, but the fish didn't feel like biting much this day:D After fishing he took us to the mangroves. There we have seen all kinds of animals: iguana, white frog, baby crocodile, green snake.. Fun day, worth repeating!

Small excursion by boat, friendly welcome, picked up by car at the hotel unfortunately little caught (fishing is lucky) then still 2 beautiful fish, at the end still a small tour through the mangroves, view of monkeys, frog crocodile and snake. Disadvantage:No toilet on the boat. Fishing equipment not exactly the best. Price is OK. Friendly captain and chauffeur.
