Would have liked more time at Peggy’s Cove to explore the shops and Scenery. Jamilliah was a wonderful host, guide and driver.
I am assuming that the issue is with the company, See Sight Tours, because our tour guide was unprepared. Continually confused the names of the 6 guests in the van (departing late due to the confusion of finding the right 6 people but had no systems to check attendance other than a typed list on a phone); drove poorly through the city while sharing limited information about universities and christmas decorations (our tour was in Sept) - nothing about the founding of the city, neighborhoods, businesses, etc.. Shared nothing about Peggy's Cove - not how/how founded, why it's famous now. Driving back to Halifax talked about a monument to a tragic plan accident but failed to show us the monument; shared what new stores came to the local mall (why does that matter?) continually spoke in a low voice so people couldn't hear what little information was shared. The totality of the failure was a training issue - not a guide issue. This person could not have been given adequate information to share out to tour guests. If See Sight Tours is depending on simply living there as enough background information, they need to do better than that. Should have chosen an excursion off the ship. Not worth the few dollars saved.
A nice hassle free way to see Peggy's Cove. Sunny told is a bit about the area and also about the role Halifax has played in some big world events, notably being close to where the Titanic sank.
Our driver was Raunaq. He picked us up on time from the port He is very knowledgeable on the history of Halifax and surrounding area. He is polite, friendly, helpful and entertaining. We highly recommend booking him for your next excursion in Halifax. We totally enjoyed the Peggy's Cove tour. Thanks, Raunaq!

It is an express. Do not expect stops of any length. This was fine for us. Driver was very knowledgeable and helpful.
Our tour guide Brittany was fantastic! Very knowledgeable about local history, pleasant drive, and a perfect amount of time to enjoy Peggy’s Cove.
We booked this tour to avoid the large cruise tours. Aida communicated with us constantly to let us know how to find her, where she'll be etc. She was right one time, and we had an awesome day. Well worth the money!
Our tour guide Sonny was spectacular. Full of kindness, knowledge and his own personal perspectives/touch. This was the perfect way to see the breathtaking Peggy's Cove during our one Port Day in Halifax - and much more affordable, personal and intimate than an official cruise line shore excursion. Our only regret was having to rush back to the cruise and not get to spend more time - but that just means we'll have to go back to Nova Scotia on our own schedule, with this experience serving as the best possible taste.
It was one of the best 3 hours in my Halifax visit. Peggy's Cove is a very lovely and calm place to visit specially if it is early in the morning. We were picked at 8am and we reached there before many of the other tourist groups and this made it easy for us to explore without too many people. Our driver and host was Jameela, she is very funny and enthusiast and provided many insights during our drive within and outside of Halifax. The large van was very comfy and clean.
