Peggy's Cove was nice experience with the Lighthouse, Shops and Restaurant. Including our driver we had 6 people in a Toyota Highlander. It was very difficult to have all in the vehicle. It was also hard to understand the driver's accent sitting in back seat.
Glorified uber for way too much money. For 70 bucks per person we could’ve just ubered all the way to peggy’s cove comfortably and with just our group…but because there was no information on the website that indicated how bad this experience would be…we booked this. There should be way more detailed information on the website about the service they actually provide, because this was not it… and mind you, I called them the day before to get more details and they were still very vague. First of all, the car is not a “limo” as they advertised. They say they can take 6 guests- they can NOT. Everyone’s legs were crushed if they had to sit in the back, which was the case for three of us. So i rode in the middle of two strangers, in a sliver of space that was NOT big enough for a person. My knees were hitting the seat in front of me and im only five feet tall. All the people were uncomfortable because the car smelled bad, and the guests in the back (including me) had to be squished for an hour long ride there and back. The mood was brought down further because of the talking points he had, which included insensitive language and was uncomfortable to listen to. He kept using the wrong language to refer to Indigenous people, and talked about deeply disturbing events in Nova Scotia’s history in a calloused and indifferent way. I lost count of how many times he said “dead bodies”…This was not the kind of “guided tour” anyone in my group was expecting, and it was clear from the start all guests were uncomfortable and generally disappointed.
Wonderful guide with Omar offering lots of new information that we didn't know. He was friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable.
Jay was an awesome tour guide, he really made our experience! We learned so much, and had plenty of time to explore the town.
This is the 3rd time and last time trying to leave a review !!!!!!! We had a great first time experience with Jay . He was prompt with pick , very personable, and full of knowledge about the Halifax areas etc . Went to Peggy’s cove …. Loved it 😊
Great trip, beautiful place to visit and our guide Jay was excellent- very informative and interesting, great company. Would highly recommend
Wonderful trip. Peggy’s Cove interesting and beautiful, well worth a visit. It was busy, but not overly so
Iqbal did a wonderful job driving and giving a guided tour along the trip. Peggy’s Cove is a quaint town rich in history. Highly recommend taking the adventure over from Halifax.
The driver was running about 30 minutes late and he texted me not knowing how to get to the given pier pick-up location. That didn’t sit well with us. We decided to go with a different tour that had space and was already there. Being on a cruise with a tight return line, we didn’t want to chance returning late and missing our ship.
It was a great experience. Omar was very knowledgable and gave us a really great tour on the way to Peggy's Cove. 10000% take the 8am early tour. After that it gets incredibly busy with tourists and buses. We were able to have a quick breakfast and lots of time to explore before it got really busy.
