Gary’s Peaky Blinders tour was one of the highlights of our time in Liverpool! He brought the city’s history and the TV series to life in such a fun, entertaining way. Gary explained how the show’s creator wove real history into the characters and storylines—he called it “holding hands with history,” which was the perfect description. Even if you’re a huge Peaky Blinders fan, you’ll come away with a deeper appreciation for the real events behind the series. At each filming location, Gary showed us photos from the show and shared fascinating stories about Liverpool’s history, taking us to places we may have missed on our own. We truly enjoyed walking and learning about Liverpool along the way. One unforgettable stop was the magnificent Liverpool Cathedral - the fifth-largest cathedral in the world. It is massive and was absolutely breathtaking beside and out. Gary is knowledgeable, funny, engaging, and clearly passionate about both Liverpool and Peaky Blinders. If you’re visiting Liverpool, this tour is fantastic! Fun and highly recommended! Thank you!!!
I really enjoyed the 4-hour tour. The tour guide, Gary Friday, is very charismatic and friendly — and simply cool in his *Peaky Blinders*-style outfit. His stories and information were fascinating and offered great insights. The group size was just right, allowing us to make spontaneous stops at certain locations. You visit both indoor settings — like the cathedral, a pub cellar or a hotel room — and many outdoor filming locations that are a delight to recognize. Overall, the value for money is excellent. Gary, thanks again for the great cap. It’s a wonderful memento of the tour and is really comfortable to wear. Cheers, mate!
e had a very fun Peaky tour through Liverpool with Gary. He showed us the shooting locations of many iconic scenes from the series and shared lots of fascinating behind‑the‑scenes insights, as he was part of the production himself. Gary guided us through many different areas, including the Georgian Quarter, the Baltic Triangle and even the cathedral, adding context, stories and humour along the way. A great part of the tour is the bus ride with live commentary — a fun little extra that allowed us to see even more of the city and learn about Liverpool beyond the show, all without having to walk the whole time. All in all, this tour is an entertaining way to explore Liverpool while diving deeper into the world of the Peaky Blinders.
We had an awesome tour across Liverpool! Gary was an absolutely great guide, had great knowledge even about architectural facts and history of places across Liverpool and he also showed us really cool locations from the Peaky Blinder series. Even if you are not deep into the Peaky Blinders series you can get great explanations and a lot of interesting spots and facts of Liverpools history. If you are loving old Victorian/Georgian places and want to see them, this tour is worth the money absolutely!
This tour was absolutely fantastic. Garry the tour guide has an amazing knowledge about not only the tour but history in general. You won’t get a better tour guide, value for money definitely.
“We loved this tour from start to finish. Our guide, Gary had a vast knowledge of Peaky Blinders and Liverpool’s history, and he shared it in such an engaging way. He was really personable too, making sure the whole group felt included and looked after. One of the best tours we’ve done.”
