Our private guide was Atta, very nice and sweet man. In the morning we had visited the pyramids. Then a delicious lunch. In the afternoon we went to the bazaar and saw a bit of Cairo city. It was a great day! Made possible by Atta! To remember! Thank you.

A wonderful trip, very well organized! Picked up early in the morning from hotel, short flight to Cairo and private bus to the pyramids. A fantastic guide made us travel back to Egyptian times with very fascinating stories. After lunch a visit to the Egyptian museum where the same guide gave us an explanation of all important matters. Very interesting. In the evening, after dinner still enjoyed a beautiful light show at the pyramids. In short: highly recommended if you want to visit Cairo for a day!

Picked up early in the morning at the hotel then directly to the airport. The flight takes an hour. Arriving in Cairo got in the van. It took us a while to get to the pyramids. What a hectic ride (you should drive there sometime and what a noise in terms of honking) The driver was perfect. Later the guide got in and went with us to the pyramids. Been in a very small pyramid (not the big one that has to be paid for) Then to the Sphinx and past a papyrus factory (we were given the choice if we wanted to go here, afterwards not special and wanted to sell them) In terms of lunch we could choose from 2 places. We have aired on a boat on the Nile, very nice! After lunch to the Egyptian museum. Because it was very busy on the road we chose to skip the market ourselves and went back to the airport. Guide spoke excellent Dutch and adapted well to the age of the kids (8 and 10 years) Told the oldest one separately how mummification worked exactly. All in all had a long but super fun day! Visit Egypt is a very reliable company! Fine in small groups so enough attention. Later our eldest daughter and I went to Luxor for another day also via visit Egypt. This was also highly recommended!

ToursfromHurghada.com day trip by plane to Cairo was an amazing experience. It was well organised and ran like clockwork, we felt safe and looked after throughout. We had a private tour and had our own driver and tour guide (Mohamed Elshemei) for the day. I’d particularly recommend if you’re travelling with kids or you just want a more personal experience. We were able to stop when we were tired and spend as long or as short a time as we wanted at the different stops. Positive points: We were met at each step of the way, as promised. Our own transport with driver meant we could leave things in the vehicle. Mohamed Elshemei was a brilliant tour guide with excellent English (and he was great with kids). Going to the pyramids and Sphinx first thing meant it wasn’t crowded and not so hot, with a personal guide it was an amazing experience. Lunch on the Nile was delicious. Having a tour guide for the Egyptian Museum was definitely worthwhile. Negative points: This wasn’t the cheapest option but it was worth the extra money. We were taken to a papyrus making/selling store and essential oils place, possibly a bit of a hard sell but depends whether you mind that or not. Exhausting day with an early morning - but worth it. It transformed a family holiday into a once in a lifetime experience. Would definitely recommend.

A long and exhausting day but so worth it! picked up from our hotel at 1 am to drive from Marsa Alam to Hurghada, where we then had to fly for an hour to Cairo where our guide was already waiting for us. Visit to and in the pyramids, the museum, the sphinx and an old market, all in all super! The guide knew a lot to tell and nice and simple in Dutch...

Very nice excursion, we left very early from the hotel with a friend by car we stopped in the desert when we arrived in Cairo it's impressive a lot of people cars and then arrived in front of the Pyramids it's something unexplainable, a funny feeling I will never forget

This private tour with Ahmed and driver was very nice to us! Ahmed speaks very good Dutch and has an education in Egyptology. Everything was well arranged and there was plenty of time to watch everything and have a relaxed lunch on the banks of the Nile. First half of the day have spent on the pyramids and Sphinx and after lunch we went to the museum. Around 1700 we flew back to Hurgada. Top day!

Already a flight from Hurghada at 6 am and picked up from hotel and met in Cairo by Ahmed and his colleague. Super complete experience of Cairo. Museum, pyramids, narrow streets and alleys, bustle of the city. Perfect!

We went by plane from El Gouna (Hurghada) to Cairo for one day to visit Pyramids. In the morning we were picked up early by car from the hotel to go to the airport. After a short flight Ahmed was already waiting at the airport to take a car to the Egyptian museum. There followed a guided tour with an explanation of the highlights of the museum and afterwards some free time to see things for yourself. After the museum we went to the Pyramids. This was unforgettable! To finish the day we went to the souk to shop there. Where this would normally be the program of the day, we had longer in Cairo thanks to an Egyptair flight change. Ahmed has given up his free time with us at a real Egyptian tent to enjoy a delicious meal. We want to thank Ahmed for this beautiful day and if we ever come back we will definitely book our excursion here again. I can recommend it to everyone!
