Partiremos de Bari às 8h30 para um dia de descoberta de três joias do Vale do Itria. Polignano a Mare é uma cidade costeira famosa por seus penhascos íngremes e pelas águas cristalinas do Mar Adriático. O centro histórico, com suas ruas estreitas, arcos e varandas floridas, tem vista para praias como Lama Monachile. Aqui faremos uma parada de 2 horas e 30 minutos. Ostuni, a "Cidade Branca", ergue-se numa colina com vistas espetaculares, e o seu centro histórico é um labirinto de ruelas onde as casas caiadas criam uma atmosfera única. Convidamos você a aproveitar as 2,5 horas à sua disposição para experimentar pratos típicos da região. Por fim, Locorotondo é conhecida por seu centro circular, pelas casas brancas adornadas com flores e pelos "cummerse", os típicos telhados inclinados. Daqui você pode desfrutar de uma vista esplêndida dos vinhedos e olivais, famosos por seus vinhos brancos locais. Faremos uma parada em Locorotondo por 1h30. Após um dia repleto de descobertas, retornaremos a Bari/Polignano às 19h.

Polignano: Berço do cantor Domenico Modugno, que ficou famoso com seu "Nel blu dipinto di blu", Polignano fascina pelo centro histórico rico em vestígios árabes, bizantinos, espanhóis e normandos, como os restos das quatro torres de defesa que cercavam a parte antiga da cidade. Um mar cristalino e a rocha bordada com impressionantes cavidades, escavadas pelo mar, são os sinais distintivos de Polignano a Mare, conhecida como a “Pérola do Adriático”, a pouco mais de 30 km de Bari.
Ostuni, conhecida como a "Cidade Branca", é uma encantadora vila da Apúlia situada no topo de uma colina, oferecendo vistas espetaculares da paisagem circundante e do Mar Adriático. Tem como principal característica a arquitetura das suas casas, todas caiadas de branco, que lhe conferem um aspecto único e encantador. No centro de Ostuni, ergue-se majestosamente a Catedral de Santa Maria Assunta, uma obra-prima da arquitetura românico-gótica. A fachada da igreja, decorada com uma magnífica rosácea, e o interior rico em frescos e detalhes, representam um dos locais de culto mais importantes da cidade. Da Sé Catedral dá-se acesso a um conjunto de ruas que conduzem a terraços panorâmicos de onde se pode admirar uma vista deslumbrante. No coração de Ostuni fica também a Piazza della Libertà, um animado ponto de encontro rodeado de cafés e restaurantes. Na paisagem envolvente é possível mergulhar nos olivais centenários que representam o coração agrícola da região.
Locorotondo: Esta é por si só uma das aldeias mais bonitas de Itália e foi galardoada com a Bandeira Laranja do Touring Club pela harmonia das suas formas e pela usabilidade do seu centro histórico. Em particular, certamente ficará fascinado pelas esplêndidas cabanas brancas, pelas ruas estreitas pavimentadas com pedra local (a "chianche") e pelos elegantes portais. Mas não só: outra peculiaridade de Locorotondo são as casas de formato geométrico regular e cobertura inclinada, esta última formada por dois lances de lajes de calcário, os “cummerse”. Estas casas são agora renovadas e oferecidas aos visitantes sob a forma de hotéis generalizados.

The bus will.take you to the 3 villages and give you documentation for you to go and walk around. Comfortable bus.
Bus is always in time, way for the group. It clean, there are mineral water that you can buy in the bus. The guide is telling most important things about the villages… and sounds very pleasant music during the trip.
This was a non guided tour but it got you to great destinations without messing with trains and buses.
very good value for money,clean air conditioned tour bus,very well explained, driver tells you what time and place the pickup point is,you get decent amount of time to explore area/town,be aware,no tour guide...self guided tour, would recommend to everyone. Only drawback we had was 2 loud ladies who were late returning in bus at last town,made all of us wait 25min. I would suggest the bus driver give passengers 15min max grace period to be late if not contacted and given valid reason!
I would not call this a tour…it was merely bus transportation. A booklet was provided in your choice of language with instructions to download a map of the different cities however our phones were not functioning and we were left without any info. There was no guide, the driver could not speak English, and we were dropped off in a railway station without a word.
It is really hard to get to Ostuni by bus or train with convenient arrival and departure timing. So this tour was perfect. The drop off locations were convenient and easy to get back too. The time at each city was good, we had enough time to walk to every area we wanted and also to enjoy a meal or snack. The bus was comfortable and the driver was nice.
Polignano is a beautiful city. Unfortunately the information in the brochure for where to meet the bus was incorrect. However once they were contacted the information was quickly sent to us. Ostuni and Locorotondo were OK, but less time at these two places would be better. I am glad we visited these towns although the self tour was somewhat confusing. Seeing more of the area on the drive was very interesting. All in all it was an acceptable tour.
Nice day except for the music on the bus. The speaker was above us and it was too loud and scratchy noise from a bad station connection. Be sure to have a phone connection for directions to get back to the bus after out walking around. The views were beautiful and everything very interesting. Take a tuk tuk in Ostuni. You will see a lot more.
The organisation of this tour was excellent. Easy online booking and directions for the departure point in Bari. Despite the awful weather forecast (we bought a couple of ponchos on the bus - well used during the tour) the tour was really enjoyable. I might have preferred to visit Monopoli rather than Polignano (following Lolita Lobosco scenes) . The day was long but it was an excellent way of seeing a lot of Puglia in a short space of time without the hassle of driving, parking etc. The booklet and downloadable guide were useful but the pre-recorded commentary on the bus got a bit tedious and on this particular tour the sound system on the bus was poor - buzz at high volume and particularly bad when music was playing. Would I recommend this tour ? Definitely. And also the Alberobello and Matera tour which we did later in the week.
