Dharavi é uma das maiores favelas da Ásia. O resultado monetário de Dharavi é avaliado em cerca de 1 bilhão de dólares por ano, muito dessa renda é criada pela indústria de reutilização mais de 20 milhões de pessoas vivem em Mumbai, produzem cerca de 6.500 toneladas de lixo todos os dias mais de 85% disso resíduos são reaproveitados. Normalmente as pessoas pensam que as favelas são todas as pessoas indigentes deixadas lá, mas estamos tentando mostrar o arranjo diferente das favelas de Dharavi, que é um sentimento da área local e as pessoas trabalhadoras cordiais e difíceis que têm é onde vários tipos de pessoas residem, são extremamente carentes pessoas e, além disso, extremamente ricas também pessoas que produzem coisas daqui que ganham milhões de rúpias, por isso é uma cidade na cidade que adoramos fazer esta visita em Dharavi no monumento onde esses dados geralmente são semelhantes aqui encontramos as pessoas reais e o lado real de favela e é assim que estamos tentando mudar

Very informative tour in a ‘different’ world. Crowded, noisy, colorfull, … thousands of hard working people,… Excellently guided by Shruti. An experience, not to forget!

Shruti took us on a tour of the Mumbai slum this morning after last night taking us through Crawford Market and some of the other historic sites of the City. Shruti is very knowledgeable and provided us with many interesting anecdotes and facts about the City, its history and its peoples. It is also worth noting that Shruti and Neerag (our driver) were especially flexible to meet our needs. 5 stars and thank you Shruti and Neerag.

Great tour, was efficiently routed to hit many spots and see various industries within the two hours. Our guide Max was well informed of the history and very helpful. We were the only party reserved so he took some time to give us recommendations for the rest of our stay in Mumbai as well. Would recommend to people interested in local culture and history. Should be able-bodied as there’s a lot of walking and come well-equipped for the heat.

Amazing- the best tour I’ve done in Mumbai! Shruti was super knowledgeable and pleasant guide, she showed me all about 3 sections in the slums- commercial, living and pottery. Very informative, an eye opener and I felt very comfortable with her being a women, it’s very safe. If you have a chance- go and ask for Shruti. Thank tou very much!
