Descrição
Nesta excursão iremos à província de Ourense para visitar um lugar muito especial, conhecido como a Ribeira Sacra. Berço da arte religiosa medieval nesta província, e da gastronomia, foi na Idade Média e Moderna que viveu o seu período áureo. Um reflexo desses tempos é a numerosa arquitetura religiosa que possui, como o mosteiro de Santo Estevo ou o de São Pedro de Rocas, ambos de grande beleza. As suas paisagens naturais, com grandes áreas de montado de sobro, mergulham-nos num ambiente que nos transporta no tempo. Sem contar que esta zona é famosa por ser a zona de uma das denominações de origem mais famosas de Espanha, a do Riveiro. Tudo a apenas algumas horas da cidade de Santiago.

Na próxima paragem entraremos na Ribeira Sacra para um interessante passeio de catamarã. Do nosso barco poderemos observar o que se chama de “heroica viticultura”, que deve o seu nome ao desnível onde crescem as vinhas do Ribeiro que rodeiam a passagem do rio Sil. Aqui está incluído o tempo que levará para se deslocar de um lugar para outro
Seguindo o Sil avançaremos em direção a um dos mirantes mais incríveis da região, de onde poderemos desfrutar de vistas espetaculares. Aqui está incluído o tempo que levará para se deslocar de um lugar para outro
Visitaremos o mosteiro de San Pedro de Rocas onde poderá visitar os túmulos antropomórficos, a fachada da igreja do século XIX, a sua torre sineira e a fonte de San Benito
Você visitará a cidade de Allariz, uma das cidades mais charmosas da Galiza. Graças a uma visita guiada, você pode descobrir a história desta cidade e suas lendas.

A tour of the river Sil, very beautiful in nature and the sea, vineyards, I liked it very much, recommended. But in a town in the area like Allariz
The tour guide was very good but the tour was not what I expected. The boat on the Sil river did not show all the vineyards planted from the top of the mountain down to river,the boat did not continue. The mirador was not that great and two tours arrived at same time leaving little time to take pictures The lunch stop was terrible. We got to a town at 3 pm which all restaurants were closed and only one was recommended by guide. It was a horrible one. The monastery was nothing great they should have taken people to the St Estero which is a beautiful one and had given option to have lunch at the parador which would have been better or just skip lunch and get back to Santiago earlier. Also ship should have stopped or bus taken group to a vineyard which was not done. Maybe skip lunch and do wine tasting at vineyard Very disappointed since the area is spectacular. Copy what the Portuguese do in Porto on the Douro cruise

Beautiful scenery the canyons amazing. Ana our tour guide was excellent very good explanation in English. Driver excellent too. My third trip with Galicia Travels, highly recommended.

Fantastic viewpoints of the canyon. Several stopping points where you can enjoy the excellent view. The best, surrounded by vineyards
