Em uma pequena colina na aldeia de Rum, estão as ruínas limitadas de um templo de 2000 anos de idade, dedicado à divindade Lat. As ruínas são importantes porque são evidências de um assentamento permanente de Nabateu, construído sobre as fundações anteriores de um templo construído pela tribo árabe de Ad.
A primavera nomeada em homenagem à descrição evocativa de Lawrence nos Sete Pilares da Sabedoria: “Diante de nós, um caminho, pálido com o uso, ziguezagueava pelo penhasco… De entre as árvores, em frestas ocultas da rocha, choro estranho; os ecos se transformaram em música, nas vozes dos árabes que molhavam os camelos nas fontes que fluíam a trezentos metros acima do solo ”.
Um siq fácil de explorar é a fissura estreita que corta Jebel Khazali. Você pode explorar a pé por cerca de 150m, longe o suficiente para apreciar a sombra fresca e ver inscrições feitas pelos antigos que usaram o siq para o mesmo propósito. Fique atento a desenhos de avestruzes, pares de pés e uma mulher dando à luz.
Uma bela ponte de pedra natural no meio deste deserto semelhante a Marte, aproveite para subir e tirar fotos inesquecíveis.
A segunda maior ponte de pedra no deserto de Wadi Rum e a mais fácil de escalar. É uma das atrações mais populares da região.
(Lawrence House): Um prédio em ruínas que os historiadores acreditam ter sido construído e usado por Lawrence da Arábia durante sua curta estadia no deserto de Wadi Rum.
(Inscrições de Anfeshyah): inscrições tahamásicas e nabateanas esculpidas por caravanas e viajantes, você também pode ver desenhos antigos de animais e humanos que ilustram o tipo de atividades que as pessoas fazem naquela época.

We spent a wonderful four hours in the desert of Wadi Rum with our guide Hamdan. He was extremely communicative, knowledgeable, and shared a wealth of information about every location where we stopped. He also taught us a lot about Jordanian culture and the local way of life, which made the experience even more meaningful. It was truly a unique and unforgettable experience — we highly recommend it!

Eid and his brother Hamdan are the best choice when you want to go for a day trip of Wadi Rum! It was a wonderful experience, not only for the desert itself, but starting from initial communication and organization, which you will easily do with Eid, all the way to the ride and sightseeing of the desert, with guidance from Hamdan. Hamdan is just a wonderful guy and guide, easy to talk to and knowledgeable. Just bring with you some openness and nice feelings and you are good to go! 🙂

We book a 4 hour tour by jeep in the Wadi Rum desert. There were only pros during our tour. 1. Price - it was the cheapest one we could find. We were 3 people and we paid each 25 JD. 2. The guide - Eid is an amazing well spoken, versed and funny guy. Even though we booked the tour only for 4 hours he stayed 5 and a half hours. We watched the sunset by a fire and tea he made. It was a really nice experience. 10/10. Recommend. Would go again.

I did the five hour full day tour. My experience was beyond amazing. The guide was knowledgeable and so caring. He took me on an extra hike becuase he knew I would enjoy it. He was happy to take pictures all day. Would definitely recommend this tour group for your stay in Wadi Rum.
Muhammad took us from our camp in time. It was a pleasant tour, we did not have any problems. The employees of the tour company were very respectful and polite. They left us back to our car. I recommend this company.
We were a little short on time and arrived a little late so they were very kind to customize the tour for us and make an expedited tool to cover things in three hours. I had booked directly and not through any other intermediary. They also went out of the way to explore some large red dunes in the desert, which are not part of the tour, in spite of being short on time . Very responsive, accommodating, and value for money
The Jeep you is highly overpriced and they covered only 5 places in 5 hours. We were expecting to see the sunset for long however we had to Leave early because of cutoff time being 6:30 PM
