This was an amazing tour of the historic Greek district led by an authentic member of the community. Her engaging stories brought the history to life as we explored her family's rich culture.

This tour was shorter than advertised- being about an hour and 10 minutes. It consisted of walking approximately 2 - 3 blocks. It appeared that the owner/normal tour guide (of Greek descent) was not available to lead the tour so I feel that we missed out on a much richer tour. It was billed as “A Tour of the Docks” but we spent very little time at the docks. I feel that we may have been able to gain as much knowledge by reading a self guided tour brochure.

Do not hesitate to take this tour without it we never wound have learned so much about the Greek immigration, the earlier years of their life here and immense knowledge about sponges! Our guide had deep family ties to the area and could bring memories of her childhood into the experience. Highly recommend.

It was so fantastic for us to get a personal tour of the sponge docks. Krisula was able to share her family’s experience in arriving in Tarpon Springs and making an impact. We had a grand time, drank strong, Greek coffee, and learned about the sponge industry. Highly recommend her anytime.
