Amazing kayak trip. We saw so many gators I couldn’t count them. At least 8 owls, a heron and egrets and so much more. Nick was a great guide and so knowledgeable. We were very lucky to see so much !
This tour was amazing. We went in the evening and were able to see a lot of wildlife. Michelle a great tour guide. Very knowledgeable on the history of the swamp and the wildlife.
Overall an excellent experience and a fantastic way to see the swamp! Our tour initially had to be rescheduled due to rain. This is a tough spot for any tour company but they were absolutely professional and accomodated everyone that needed to reschedule. The tour itself was beautiful with lots of extra knowledge and wildlife sightings from our guide Stephanie! I really couldnt ask for more for a swamp kayak tour.
This was the highlight of my trip to NOLA. We spent 2,5 hours with a small group under the supervision of Scott and it was peaceful and got to see alligators, various birds and turtles. I would do it again especially with Scott.
Nick was amazing! So knowledgeable about the area, ecosystem and animals. Highly recommend.
We had a great experience! We opted to include transport, and Josh picked us up in New Orleans. He was also our guide - it’s very clear he knows a lot about the swamp and was happy to share with us. We saw plenty of wildlife (alligators, turtles, birds). The whole experience was very relaxed. For most of the tour we just paddled our way through the kayak - Josh saved the talking points for a secluded spot further into the tour which was nice - we could just look around and take it all in instead of trying to hear what he was saying while paddling.
The tour was fantastic--a great little respite from the bustle of New Orleans. The surroundings were beautiful and peaceful. Our guide, MJ, was friendly, competent, and extremely knowledgable about the area's flora, fauna, geology, and history (natural and human). We saw interesting birds and several gators! (They keep their distance.) Highly recommended.
This a unique way to experience NOLA. It’s off the beaten path away from the city full of tourists. You get to be in the “wild” and nature just outside the city. If you want to getaway from the bustle of the city and be in the calm of the water and cypress trees, this is for you! Josh was our tour guide. He did a great job and we really enjoyed our time! He was chill and friendly!
One of my best kayaking experiences ever! MJ, the tour guide, was exceptional! Michelle, at the office, likewise. I call it the "Garden of Eden", or, "Paradise Kayak Tour". A must do (if you're a kayaker!)!
Our tour Gide (River) was great and knowledgeable. We Had so much fun! I high recommend. Will definitely return.
