My husband and I have been touring the UK stopping in most major cities and when there have been doing a guided bike tour. This tour company has been the best company without a doubt. From the greeting we received from Ivan, his briefing before the commencement of the ride. Our helmets had a headphones, first time we have had this. This enabled Ivan to continue to talk to us as we rode. Pointing out sights and giving us clear directions along the way. Ivan was very knowledgeable on the sights and history of Galway. We rate this ride the very best e-bike tour we have done in the UK. Well done WeWheel Galway and your guide Ivan. Kevin and Dot.
Such an informative guide to understanding Galway. Food, history, culture and overall lay of the city.
We had an amazing time. I highly suggest this tour. We were able to see alot of galway in a short time. It was nice to learn the history in such a fun way.
This bike tour was the best experience we had in Ireland. Ivan was an exceptional and excellent guide. Truly fun, informative and relaxing. He was very accommodating to our experience and ability level. He made it an enjoyable and memorable experience.
Highly recommend this e-bike tour! I’ve been to Galway multiple times for business and I wished I would have done this tour the very first time I came. Galway is much bigger than just the famous Latin quarter…and during this tour I was able to see everything that Galway has to offer! Ivan, our tour guide, was excellent. He took us around the city, shared some history about Galway, and gave us excellent food restaurant and pub recommendations. The e-bikes are really nice and they give you a helmet with Bluetooth speakers so you clearly hear the guide throughout the entire ride. I would recommend doing this tour when you first arrive to Galway so you can get acquainted with the city and the places that you want to visit later on in your stay. Thank you Ivan for such a great time!
Highly recommend the guided e-bike tour! I’ve been to Galway for business multiple times and finally I came back for vacation. I quickly realized how little I knew about Galway and all there’s to see and experience! The benefits of doing the e-bike is that you get to see so much more of Galway vs. doing a walking tour. Ivan, our guide was excellent and very knowledgeable about the history of Galway and has excellent recommendations for pubs, food, etc. Recommend you do this tour when you arrive to Galway so you can get acquainted with the city and all there’s to see and experience! Thanks Ivan for an amazing experience!
We enjoyed this experience as an entry into Galway. Evyn was our guide and he was really nice. We toured a good portion of the city, taking stops for pictures and exploration along the way. My whole family enjoyed it and would recommend as a different way to see the city. It was a lot of fun!
Felix expertly led us through Galway our first day here. We felt like a local by the end and Felix helped widen our understanding of Galwegian and our own Irish history while making it all great fun. Highly recommend!
Our bike tour was simply great!! We cycled past the highlights of Galway, stopped regularly. Like the Spanish Gate, Galway cathedral, the university with its oldest building, Queens College, 181 years old, and many other places. Our guide, Felix, a grad student of this university, explained the history of Galway, and all the places we visited. He told us about Gaelic Football and Hurling, typical Irish sports unknown elsewhere. The e-bikes were very good, bluetooth helmets so Felix could explain while passing by, and above all, safety on the road was his first priority, Thanks a lot Felix !!
My wife and I had a lovely e-bike tour with our guide, Ivan. He did a great job of showing us all that Galway has to offer. He was jovial, knowledgeable and accommodating.
