Excellent! The Captain Guilherme is Top, the trip and the group were excellent, I highly recommend the experience, whether for those who go for the first time or to repeat

Unfortunately, it was only a drive from Cabanas to Tavira and back. Since the boat license unfortunately hardly spoke English, there was no information except for the Octopus fishing boats. Not about flora or fauna. In Tavira we were dropped off for 30 minutes. Although the tour should last 2 hours, we were back after 1.5 hours. One point is that the boat license was very nice.

I loved the dolphin tour, love boating, excellent experience. I loved Antonio's professionalism as much as the hostile. The ticket maker Zélia's girl is adorable and friendly.

The pilot was great with his colleague We saw a lot of dolphins and it was unforgettable to see the wild dolphins on my husband’s birthday (12/07/2025)

Unfortunately the tour lasted 40 minutes rather thn the promised 60 minutes. And there were no binoculers as promised on the website - these would have been so useful to view the birdlife. We were really looking forward to this, but left feeling distinctly underwhelmed

We paid 35 euros each — so 140 euros for 4 people. The tour started late. First, we sailed toward Santa Luzia for a 1-hour and 40-minute stop, then headed to the beach on Tavira Island for a 40-minute break, and finally returned to the starting point. That’s it! 35 euros for 3 boat rides that were basically like water taxis. You’d be better off taking a Bolt! It was just a series of taxi rides — only on water. A big, big regret!

Although we enjoyed sailing along the river from Tavira to Cabanas we only saw flamingos in one part of the journey as the boat was lower than the levees. We saw more flamingos on the Tavira road train and the walk we took to look at them. We were told binoculars would be provided, they weren't, just as well we took our own.

Amazing boat tour, the guide was professional, courteous and friendly. He spoke of the history of the area. A stop in Santa Luzia for a great lunch. I highly recommend the Passeios Ria Formosa.
