Como a caminhada da manhã, cobrimos os favoritos de Austin, como o interior do Driskill Hotel. No entanto, a caminhada da tarde é um pouco mais longa em 2 horas e tem bônus como: visitar o varejo de vodka / loja de história de Tito na rua Lavaca, passear pelas margens do Ladybird Lake Trail e descobrir a beleza do icônico bairro Rainey Street. Sua excursão encontra e parte de Love, Tito's na histórica Lavaca St., no centro de Austin. Esta pitoresca loja de varejo é a única loja de varejo para a primeira e única Vodka de Tito de Austin! Agora uma sensação mundial, Tito começou aqui na área de Austin. Os funcionários prestativos e amigáveis da Love, Tito's têm prazer em compartilhar o sucesso e as raízes profundas da história de Tito. Erguendo-se orgulhosamente em frente ao Moody Theatre, a estátua de Willie é uma representação icônica do motivo pelo qual Austin é conhecida como a "Capital da Música ao Vivo da América". Sua caminhada particular em Austin leva você ao longo de uma seção cênica da trilha de caminhada Lady Bird Lake. A casa do grande autor americano, William Sydney Porter, também conhecido como O' Henry, está localizada perto do centro da cidade e é uma breve parada para conhecer a história de O' Henry e sua vida aqui em Austin na década de 1880.
Ao lado da casa de O 'Henry fica a antiga casa de nossa heroína local, Susanna Dickinson, a única sobrevivente do Alamo (1836). Neste local, contamos a bravura de Susanna que não apenas sobreviveu ao Álamo, mas também conseguiu salvar sua filha Angelina!
Em sua aventura a pé no centro de Austin, você experimentará dois quarteirões da mundialmente famosa "Dirty 6th Street"! Quase todas as vitrines na East 6th datam das décadas de 1870 e 1880. Nossos guias informados certamente indicarão os lugares mais legais para comer e, claro, música ao vivo!

Tyler was a great guide - informative, but in an approachable manner for teens and adults alike. We saw a good selection of Austin sights - both old and new and finished a lot more knowledgeable than we started. I would recommend.

Possibly one of the best tours I've been on in years. Tyler is a fantastic storyteller, giving a thorough deep-dive into the history of Austin. A lengthy, walking tour, but totally worth learning about the history of the city, while touring locations throughout the city. Meet-up point was easy to get to, there's a parking garage located next door, as well as a Starbucks on the corner across from Love, Tito's. There's food and drink options along the way, very cool way to experience a snapshot into Austin's downtown. Tour is safe, travel in an intimate group, and gave me a look into the city that exceeded my expectations. I definitely would love to come back and spend more time, but only had this 1 day to enjoy the city. p.s. bring water and wear comfortable walking shoes!

Two years ago we participated in a food and tour event in Mobile Alabama. That was a tour that included in the cost samples from a number of different restaurants in downtown Mobile We thought this was going to be a similar experience but it was different which was disappointing Perhaps we missed that when we read the material. Tyler did a good job showing us around downtown Austin

Our guide was full of historical knowledge which helped make the tour very enjoyable. Walking through the old neighborhoods and seeing the new skyscrapers in the background was a sight to see! Austin is a nice city to visit.

My teenage son and I were the only ones on our afternoon walking tour with Tyler. He was friendly, knowledgeable, takes pride in Austin, and paced the tour just right for us. Our fave parts were the walk along the water (even though there was a lot of noisy construction all around), stepping into the historic Driscoll Hotel, and the most delicious hidden taco restaurant we would have never stumbled upon without Tyler (Taqueria de Diez). He answered all our questions, had some good stories, and made sure there wasn’t anything we still wanted to know about before the tour ended. We asked for an ice cream shop recommendation and he suggested Amy’s Ice Creams (where my son and I walked after our tour and it was another superb place!) Thank you, Tyler for an awesome Austin tour.
