We booked a 3 hour pontoon tour with DayTour Bacalar, but when we went to check in for it they upgraded us to the catamaran at no additional charge! I think it was due to not enough people signing up that day, so instead of taking three boats out, they only took one. The catamaran was a nice upgrade. It's a bigger and better boat, and you are able to lay out on the deck and enjoy the sun. The guides were helpful and informative. We hit all the right spots of the lagoon. It really is an amazing place, and nothing will prepare you for the beautiful colors of the lagoon. We will definitely be back, and I would happily use DayTour Bacalar again!

A great way to explore the lagoon, and the access to beach club and kayaks after was a real bonus. Jonathan was excellent - an exemplary tour guide who made us all feel welcomed, valued, informed and entertained.

Really, an amazing tour. Super easy access, Hector gave us information in both English and Spanish. Beautiful tour of the lagoon and we got to swim in the pristine blue waters at two locations.
