This was probably our favorite excursion of the trip. The tour guide was incredible (Giacomo) and truly went the extra mile to make it memorable. The horses were well trained and the vineyards were beautiful to ride through. The tour of San Gimignano was a great experience and the wine tasting/lunch was excellent. This was worth every penny and we will be booking other tours through them!

This was the perfect experience for our entire family. I (grandpa) stayed back with the two-year-old and had no problem entertaining him for an hour while the other seven of us enjoyed the ride. The tour and free time of the medieval village of San Gimignano was as much fun for the kids as it was for the adults. Of course it helped that there was a world-famous gelato store with an overwhelming number of flavors. The Champagne-grapefruit one was very refreshing on a hot day. We also highly recommend taking a quick right as soon as you pass the wall of the town and walk up the ancient medieval walkway. Lunch and wine-tasting at the organic farm, Fattoria Poggio Allora, was flavorful and delicious featuring vegetables and olive oil from the farm as well as their wines. It is also one of the few places in the region that grows saffron. I loaded up at the wine store before we left. The saffron was less than half the price I pay at home. Our driver, Lorenzo, grew up in the region and was very informative. He answered all our questions with ease and elaborated eloquently. We asked him everything from cycling on the narrow roads to harvesting methods (all by hand) and seasons. The company was very accommodating: willing to arrange for us to be picked up in the village where we were staying (Montespertoli) rather than in Florence. All we had to do is ask. I can’t recommend this highly enough. All of us (even the two-year-old) would do it again in a heartbeat.

We had a completely wonderful time on our horseback tour. Lunch was just wonderful and the stop in San Gimignano was a great break from the city. Christian was a fantastic guide four our group! Definitely just book this!

What a fabulous way to experience a beautiful part of Tuscany! Our guide Stefano was just gorgeous - happy to share his knowledge with a lovely sense of humour. All elements of the day went smoothly but Stefano was also flexible enough to ensure our lttle group was happy all day. *As a rider, it was important for me to see that the horses were healthy and well trained.

This was an amazing experience! There was time for shopping, horseback riding, plus a delicious lunch and generous wine tasting. I highly recommend this tour.

Wonderful day spent in Tuscany! We explored San Gimignano then went to the stables to saddle up and ride through the countryside. A beautiful way to see the Italian country up close. We ended at a vineyard and had an incredible lunch with wine tasting. Just perfect!

Even my kids agreed that this was one of our best outings as a family! We enjoyed every part of it. Our guide, Lorenzo, was amazing. The horseback ride was exactly what we’d hoped, we loved San Gimignano and could easily have spent more time there , and the farm winery lunch was idyllic. My kids (teenagers) loved the food and the peaceful setting.
