Parque Nacional Addo Elephant de Port Elizabeth - FD01

A wonderful experience!! We were accompanied by a truly knowledgeable guide who was very attentive to all our needs. He regularly checked on us, asking from time to time whether we needed restroom breaks, to stretch our legs, have some water, coffee, or lunch. I highly recommend this experience because it made it much easier for me to spot even the most hidden animals, and I received a lot of information about their habits.

We had a great time with our guide Graeme. He was so considerate of our situation with a small child. I recommend all families with young children to take a private tour because it offers much more flexibility and allows them to cater to the child's needs.

A very good guide drove us safely and accompanied us informatively throughout the day.

What a way to spend our Christmas Day. Graham picked us up bright and early and we were soon entering the safari and it didn’t disappoint. We opted for a private tour and we were so glad we did. Having Alan’s expertise and enthusiasm to ourselves all day made the trip. The animals showing themselves, the sheer vastness of the park and Graham himself were all highlights. We couldn’t have wished for more. Alan Tours were great to deal with. Informative and attentive we urge you to try them out. With luck you might be paired with Graham. Five Stars! And then some.

We had a full day tour of Addo Elephant Park with Graeme today. The weather was quite hot and Graeme provided us with welcome bottles of water. He also had blankets in case we got cold at any stage. We saw a wide variety of birds and animals in the park today, such as jackals, mongeese, Burchalls zebras, wildebeest, warthogs, kudus, bonteboks, water buffalos, a leopard tortoise, vervet monkeys, many elephants, common buzzards, pied crows, spoonbills, herons and many more. Graeme was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. He made it a really enjoyable day. I'd recommend Alan's Tours (particularly Graeme) for Addo safaris.

Alan Tours set a high bar. As soon as I booked the tour they made sure to communicate what I needed to bring and where they would pick me up. My guide Alan was the one who picked me up, when he could have just as easily canceled with me being the only traveler in his vehicle. Alan was a great conversationalist, conservationist, and human being. He assisted me in finding most the animals in the Addo Elephant National Park Scavenger hunt. He did animal calls so I could get great shots of them. Taught me so much about the Elephants and all the other animals in the park. He shared some coffee and biscuits with me. And up to the last minute he was allowed to be in the park, helped me vigorously look for some lions. We didn't find any but that didn't take away from the experience at all. When I come back to South Africa or wherever Alan Tours operates I will definitely do a Safari with him. Thank you all for the amazing experience. Jordan

This was an amazing experience, and my guide Graeme was great! I was unsure if I really wanted to fork out for a private tour, but it was well worth it. The local knowledge and constant updates from other guides meant that we had thr best chances to see the widest variety of animals. Graeme asked which animals I was interested in and tailored the trip to accomodate this. Knowing I loved insects and beetles in particular, he was even careful not to run any over any. We saw more elephants than I thought possible, zebras, buffalo, jackals, warthogs, mongoose and more bird species than I could take in. After some searching, we even found a lion in the distance. This was truly a day to remember.

We have experienced an unforgettable beautiful time with Anthony. He convinces with enormous knowledge about animal and plant world.

On 20.11.25 we did the tour with graves. Graeme has given us a breathtaking unforgettable day that we will never forget. Organizing with Angelika in advance worked super easy. We were picked up on time in the morning from our cruise port by open vehicle. Once in the park, one highlight after another awaited us. We couldn't get out of that rave. We have seen elephants, water buffalo, warthogs, zebras, antelopes, ostriches, meerkats, turtles, monkeys and other animals up close. When we spotted a lioness on the street at lunchtime, we all couldn't believe our luck. But when we saw another 2 lions in the afternoon, while hunting in the mountains it was in perfection to be surpassed. One of the lions came straight to our vehicle and walked right past us. Pure goose bumps. The day was perfect all round and Graeme gave us a lot of knowledge about fauna and flora and the incredible wildlife. You can tell how much he lives and loves his job. We can recommend this tour with Alan tour from the heart and will definitely come back.

Super safari day Addo Elefant National Park Jaco was a super guide and very informative ! Picked up and return to cruise terminal right on time in an air-conditioned minibus Great organization. The restaurant in the park was clean and the food was delicious. Highly recommend
