Comece este dia com um passeio por um dos mais belos parques nacionais do Equador, o Parque Nacional Cajas, admirando algumas das lacunas e conhecendo de perto a flora espetacular deste ecossistema. Vamos caminhar 2:00 horas aproximadamente.
Almoço em um restaurante local para provar comida equatoriana.
O guia irá levá-lo ao ponto de vista de Turi, de onde você terá uma bela vista da cidade de Cuenca.
Depois de visitar o parque, vamos para Cuenca. Neste passeio pela cidade, o nosso guia falará sobre a história desta cidade, visitando igrejas como a Catedral de la Inmaculada Concepción (Nova Catedral) e La Iglesia del Carmen. Vamos caminhar em bairros muito bonitos e tradicionais da cidade, como o bairro de La Cruz del Vado, um site onde muitas casas têm um estilo arquitetônico diferente e têm uma bela vista do rio Tomebamba. Aproveite também um passeio pelo Mercado 10 de Agosto apreciando as frutas coloridas misturadas e as cores da roupa de Cholas Cuencanas). My partner and I were delighted with the private tour. The tour pick us up at the hotel at 8:20 am very punctual, we go to Cajas National Park where we arrive in an hour depending on traffic. On the way the guide and driver (Wilson) tells us a little about the history of the city of Cuenca and what to expect from the Cajas park. We arrive at the park and begin the walk through the beautiful forest where you can admire the flora and fauna. The route through the park is extraordinary, do not forget a warm coat as the climate changes according to the height you are in, as the weather varies. After the park we return to Cuenca and it takes about one hour. The guide shows you the city by foot. You can admire the Neo Gothic architecture of the Cathedral and French / Spanish style houses of the city. Lots of culture, good food and weather. Try el “hornado” in the Mercado 10 de Agosto. I would repeat it.
