Our tour was cancelled because the museum was closed due to the heatwave in Paris, but Viator was wonderful in helping us get a refund.
The tour guide never showed up. We contacted the tour provider directly via a chat and phone call did not receive response from either. After waiting 30 minutes We contacted Viator and they did provide a refund.
A I was spectacular! We loved the historical background that helped us understand the traditions in art leading up to the Impressionist period and the variety with in Impressionism.
Enjoyed it and our guide was great! She really know the topics and answered any questions that we had.
This was the best way to see the museum. Ruth, our guide was excellent and so knowledgeable about the art. The museums are so large and can be overwhelming, so it was nice to have somebody show us around who knew the ins and outs. This is the only I will do museum tours from now on.
Maybe wishpers are needed. He was a wonderful guide with a new perspective for me. The museum is very noisy. My hearing aides are not sufficient to hear everything .
We had an absolutely fabulous tour through the Orsay with Ivana, who was beyond lovely and so knowledgeable. Highly recommend this tour to get the most out of this amazing museum. We learned so much not only about the art but also the context in which it was created. My teenage kids loved it too! Would do it again in a heartbeat.
Guide was extremely competent and knowledgeable in art history. Simon provided excellent commentary and was very personable.
A really enjoyable tour, that helped our understanding of the Musée d’Orsay and the development of art within the collection. We learned far more from our knowledgeable guide Arthur than we could have ever done visiting on our own. He was intelligent and his love for the subject showed :-)
Our tour was very well done and our guide Emanuel was excellent. The experience of having someone lead the way and explain everything to us was a huge plus and created a much better overall experience.
