Sophie was an amazing guide. Very informative, funny, and organized. She was the best!! Thank you Sophie!!
Thank you so much! We are absolutely thrilled that Sophie was so organized, funny, and informative during your food tour in Le Marais. We will be sure to share your kind words with her, and we hope to see you again soon!
The food tour was just… fine. Overall, we are happy we did it because we did get to see some of Paris that we hadn’t toured ourselves and got some interesting history about the area. We didn’t think the food or wine was amazing quality, and we didn’t feel particularly well received at the sit-down (chain??) restaurant we visited. At the restaurant where we were able to sample escargot, we waited outside then went upstairs and waited upstairs. There was some back-and-forthing between the tour guide and employee and then another delay, which made everything a bit awkward/uncomfortable for us, but we did eventually get our escargot and wine. Afterward, we walked a bit then stopped to eat our bread and cheese. The bread we received was just okay-tasting small pieces to be sampled with the cheese when we were expecting to have some delicious fresh baguette. It was the kind you expect to see as a garnish on a soup, not one of the main stops on a food tour. The cheeses were all fantastic and we enjoyed them. The French onion soup and beef bourguignon were also just fine but we liked the feel of this restaurant much more than the other. We also really enjoyed the dessert crepe at the end. In future, we would pay very close attention to the reviews if we were ever to consider booking with this tour company again.
Thank you for taking the time to provide such detailed feedback, Jessica. We're pleased to hear that you enjoyed discovering a different side of Paris and learning about the history of Le Marais. We are also glad that the cheese selection and the crêpe were highlights of your experience. At the same time, we're sorry to learn that certain aspects of the tour did not meet your expectations. We understand your disappointment regarding the quality of some of the food and wine offerings, as well as the delays and awkwardness you experienced at one of the restaurant stops. Creating a seamless and welcoming experience for our guests is extremely important to us, and we regret that this was not consistently reflected during your tour. We appreciate your specific comments regarding the bread selection and restaurant experience, as feedback like this helps us evaluate our partnerships and the overall guest experience. Your observations have been shared with the relevant teams for review. Thank you again for your honest feedback. While we're disappointed that we did not fully meet your expectations on this occasion, we appreciate the opportunity to learn from your experience and improve for future guests.

Thank you for your wonderful review! We're so glad you enjoyed the food, the company, and your time exploring Le Marais. We'll be sure to share your kind words with Sofia.
Sofia was great! I loved the historical reference to everything we saw and ate! Le Beef restaurant was also very accommodating with my food allergies. My favorite food was the falafel at Marianne’s. I’m not a big fan of falafels but that place changed my mind!!
Thank you for your wonderful review! We're so glad you enjoyed exploring Le Marais with Sofia and appreciated the historical context she shared throughout the tour. It's also great to hear that the food stops exceeded your expectations, especially the falafel! We appreciate you joining us.
Very nice tour with good food and nice guide Sofia! 👍
Hi there, Thank you for your review. I’m so glad you enjoyed the tour and the food experience. Sofia will be happy to hear your kind words. Kind regards,
Sophia is so knowledgeable! Delightful! And real!! The food was outstanding!!! My only complaint was that there was too much onion soup and beef burgoininne. It could have been shared. It was such a sin to throw away so much! But it was delicious!
It is fantastic to hear that Sophia’s delightful personality and the outstanding food made for a fabulous tour! We appreciate your honest feedback regarding the portion sizes—we certainly hate to see such delicious classics go to waste. We have shared this with our Paris Operations Manager to review our serving sizes. We hope to see you again for more Parisian treats!
This food tour was the best experience! Our tour guide Sofia was knowledgeable and so charming. Her experience really added so much more to the experience! The food stops were well planned and we left very full! My favorite was the cheese and crepe stop! A must do if you visit Paris!
Thank you for such a wonderful review! We’re thrilled to hear that Sofia made your food tour so memorable with her knowledge and charm. It’s great to know you enjoyed the variety of stops and left feeling satisfied. The cheese and crêpes are definitely a favorite!
I can't think of a better way to spend 3 hours in Paris than eating your way through Montmartre, with Sofia as a guide. Sofia led us to some of the best eats, a little here and a little there and a 2 course meal, and pointed out interesting things and landmarks along the way, and even gave us the background and history. The food was delicious, varied, and plentiful. Everyone in the group agreed that they couldn't have eaten another bite. Thank you Sofia for the wonderful tour.
Thank you for your lovely review! We’re thrilled that Sofia made your Montmartre food tour so enjoyable and helped you discover some of the best bites and hidden gems in Paris. It sounds like a delicious and memorable way to explore the city!
Sophia was great and the food choices were amazing! Authentic French cuisine in unexpected locations.
Thank you for your great feedback! We’re so pleased to hear that Sophia made your food tour such an enjoyable experience and that you loved the selection of authentic French cuisine. Exploring hidden gems is always a highlight.
Not only a selection of great Parisian food and wine, but also an introduction to a few unique neighborhoods and a market topped off with some great knowledge of history and architecture in the city. Sofia was very hospitable and engaged everybody. Communication was great before the tour and it was well paced at three hours. In our case we would have liked more oysters and less beef bourguignon. It was definitely enough food to call it dinner. We definitely recommend this tour.
Thank you for sharing your experience! We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed both the food and the exploration of Parisian neighborhoods. It’s great to know that Sofia’s knowledge and hospitality helped make the tour so engaging.
