O Mito de como Roma surgiu está intrinsecamente ligado a este edifício único. Do Templo sagrado e campos de Marte, originalmente fora dos muros da cidade de Roma, ao fundador de Rômulo. A estrutura posterior de Augusto ainda está hoje em perfeito estado, dois mil anos depois, graças à Igreja que se tornou - dentro do mundo das Basílicas convergem - pagã e cristã. Os túmulos do Rei e da Rainha e as formidáveis cinzas de Rafaelo jazem aqui pela eternidade.
O exterior do Panteão, suas colunas, a formação circular do templo, camadas de história explicadas (o monumento nos permite ver o passado, ajudando-nos a visualizar o que está por vir no futuro). A cúpula com seu surpreendente e único óculo (aberto para o céu) - o local onde Rômulo foi atingido por um raio (dizem).

We missed this tour, but they tried to call us. I was asleep, so I didn’t not answer, but they tried.

Great tour of Pantheon! You do still line up to get entrance, but line moves fast and you go in as a group with your guide so a bit easier than just on your own. Tour guide gave a great tour with good explanations of everything inside. Gave us option of staying longer once tour was done.
Even though it was the first Sunday of the month so free entry, this guided tour was streamline not chaos with the increased number of people

Our private tour allowed us to receive much more information about the Pantheon and the smaller group was better for moving around in the crowds. It was our first day in Rome and our guide also gave us some great tips for Rome. The only issue was that our audio head-sets tended to 'drop in and out' quite a bit, which was a bit frustrating. Thank you to our guide who was let down a bit by the technology.

We’re very sorry about the intermittent headset connection and understand how frustrating this must have been, we do however ask our visitors to let us know if they have a problem and with Private tours the Guide is so close one can even take the headsets off. After the tour it is of course too late. We will make sure the equipment is thoroughly checked and this variable kept tip top.
