Uma visita de meio dia às Cavernas de Presuntos é uma ótima opção para quem tem pouco tempo livre nas férias e quer visitar apenas as Cavernas de Presuntos (ou Coves dels Hams no idioma local). Esta excursão nos leva a visitar as maravilhosas Cavernas de Presuntos, localizadas em Porto Cristo, na zona leste de Maiorca, a cerca de 60 km do sul. Atravessaremos o campo de Palma a Porto Cristo e nosso guia nos contará histórias de Mallorca e coisas interessantes sobre a área por onde passamos. A visita às Cavernas de Hams Mallorca leva aproximadamente 45 minutos. This add is misleading. It states there are 2 options for a meeting point. 1 in Palma and 1 an hour away in the opposite direction. The only reason why I booked this is because I was closer to the Palma location. I called Viator BEFORE the meeting time, and they said it was ok to meet in Palma. I even got an email confirmation saying No Frills was contacted and that they will come pick me up. No that is not what happened. A lady from the No Frills place called and said that's the wrong location. I explained to her what has been told to me and she hung up the phone. I called back and no one knew what was going on and didn't give a F*** about me. I called Viator back and demanded a refund. I immediately got an email saying No Frills denied my refund. Why? all because THEIR AD IS WRONG! how is this my fault? this place sucks! Don't book anything from them!
Dear traveller, Your review is simply not accurate, and we must respond very clearly to the false claims being made. Your voucher clearly stated your pickup point in Alcudia, including: the exact address pickup time and a map We have a copy of the voucher, and there is absolutely no ambiguity about the meeting point. You were also informed of this again during the phone calls. The issue here is very simple: you did not go to the correct pickup location shown on your voucher. That is why the booking was considered a no-show. You claim “the ad is wrong”, but dozens of other customers using the same information arrived correctly at their meeting points that same day without any issue. The problem was not the information provided — the problem was that you did not read or follow it correctly. Regarding Viator: they contacted us, we confirmed the correct pickup point listed on your booking, and the refund was denied accordingly because the service operated normally and you were not there. We also strongly reject your comments about our staff “not caring”. Our team tried to explain the situation to you more than once, but unfortunately we cannot move buses across the island because a customer went to the wrong location despite having the correct information in writing.
Wonderful trip to the caves of Hams. Would especially recommend for your children as it is next to Dinosaur Land. We then went to the pearl outlet which we enjoyed. The guide Mariana was lovely as was the bus driver. I would recommend this trip.

too short for my expectations, we thought in a different kind of interaction ……. the last part I couldn’t see too many people they should play twice

The bus came late, not at the scheduled time. Became more bus trip than experience, should be informed more ihht what was going to happen. LMon tours shouldn't take more when they knew we were the only couple on the trip.

Over sold. Picked up in a giant double decker coach and it didn't have any seats for me and my daughter to sit down in. The tour guide suggested my daughter sit on her own and I sit elsewhere. Obviously told him no therefore turning what should be a nice excursion into a stressful experience
we are sorry to inform you you posted the review in the wrong place as we havent had any coach overbooked. All places are numbered and the clients have a seat on the bus.
A FUÏRE!!! Excursion proposed on a half day time absolutely not respected. Departure for us from Camp de Mar at 8:10 am to go to Palma to pick up other people (arrival at 9:30 am). We then head to Porto Cristo for a 25-minute stop (not mentioned in the brochure) and then a 35-minute stop at the Pearl Factory (which is really just a shop). Start of the visit to Les Caves de Hams at 12 noon for a duration of 25 minutes on foot (even though we were told a visit of 1 hour) to finish with a “musical show” that is none other than a vulgar soundtrack projected (not even 5 minutes). The bus picks us up at 1:40 pm (I remind you of an arrival at 12 noon and a visit of 25 minutes so Waiting time 1h). This is a total bus journey of more than 5 hours. I advise you to rent a car if you want to make this tour in order to avoid these long trips and Waiting times.

The cave was fab, just the right amount of time to spend in it, the guide was brilliant too very informative, wouldn’t bother with the pearl factory though it’s just a shop !

I am a bit split over this tour. I loved the cave and it was beautiful. I also was not on a rush and was not on a tight time schedule so didn’t mind just sitting in the bus and reading the news and playing some games on my phone. I also liked the tour guide. Funny guy who did the tour in English, German, and Spanish himself. Pretty impressive to speak three languages at the same time. But I think it is important to know this is two different tours at two different locations, one big bus. Out of the 5.5 hours spent on this tour, the cave activity was less than an hour. A lot of time was spent driving to the other tour’s destination and waiting for the other tour to get on the bus. The pearl factory also is not impressive at all, they show 2-3 videos and that’s it! The rest is about you spending money there. So if you are a chill traveler, enjoy reading a good book or listening to an audiobook and would like to see a beautiful cave, then do it, otherwise you would be disappointed with the amount of time spent.

Our guides always try to be entertaining and make sure that our customers have a great time. Just to let you know, the visit to the pearl outlet is completely optional. We stop there because we have a lot of demand for this impressive Mallorcan tradition, but for people who are not interested, they can enjoy a drink or have a coffee at the cafe. Besides, the stop is just half an hour. On this excursion, some people visit the Caves of Drach and some visit the Caves of Hams. They are both in Porto Cristo. This is a shared tour and the price reflects that. We also have the option of a private tour, where you will have dedicated transport just for yourself and you don't have to share with other people. Great place to visit. Really interesting place and one that seems to not be as well known to the British. Amazing natural location. If taking young children it would be best to take a carrier but the terrain isn't too difficult just a number of steps at times
