Beautiful venue, beautiful concert. The only problem- the venue was very hot on a warm summer night with little ventilation. This activity is probably best enjoyed in the cooler months.
Beautiful concert location, let down by average music and circus atmosphere.
Beautiful performance in the large hall of mirrors of the Schonbrunn Palace. I missed a program with the different songs that would be performed. For the rest...a puke performance
There are two options available for this tour so it can be confusing. The VIP pass allows each person a drink from the bar and a program. The program is 10 Euros by itself so if you think you want it and the drinks, buy the upgraded VIP pass allows each. The day we were there, it was 90 degrees outside with high humidity. The orangery was not well air conditioned. Also, we thought the program was going to be all classical music but it did have some opera numbers sung in German, which we don’t speak. Even so, the performers made it fun and engaging.
First time seeing a concert like this one and it was stunning ! Really worth it !
I know it is subject to piece modification but at least let people know what are the pieces. I don't even know which piece they are playing. Guido Manzusi is the dirigent. It is my first time to have such dirigent lead the choir and I paid quite a lot. I give two stars because of the friendly personal or else I'll just give one!
A lovely way to spend an evening in Vienna listening to Mozart and Strauss in the city they lived. The musicians and performers were outstanding. Highly recommend.
Lovely venue. Good musicians. Highly entertaining programme aimed at the visitors (like us) who lapped it up. Finished with the crowd pleasing Radetzky March!
we had gold tickets but no one checking seats .people sitting anywhere .We towards back when should have been front. Not worth nearly $150 each .could have had cheap for same show
I guess I expected something special as it was in the palace. The Concert was enjoyable but I could have had it anywhere. While in Austria, I wanted only the Schönbrunner palace could deliver. But nothing like the magic happened, and the Orangerie is some makeshift hall that was built next to the Palace. So go there knowing what to expect.
