It was a beautiful golf course and everyone was so patient and amazing. If your spouse or children is not golfing they have a pool area as well for them.
LaCana is beautiful. However, the TripAdvisor package advertises the Ocean Holes (Tortuga and Arricefe) but when we arrived they had us do Hacienda and Arricefe instead. Hacienda is inland with less ocean holes. We picked the package for the most ocean holes and views.
Shuttle was private to and from the course, staff and caddy were great at the course, and I was paired with great people! Course has some water and sand hazards, but for the most part it’s pretty wide open (I didn’t lose a ball!). Golfed Hacienda / Toruga. Solo female, felt extremely comfortable the entire trip!
I was told I would be picked up at my hotel. I double and triple check using the chat feature on the app. Was told pick up at 6:45 at lobby of hotel. Was there 15 minutes early and waited until 7:00 and no ride showed. Had to then get an Uber to the course. Course and staff were fantastic. La Cana is in great shape and staff were very helpful. It would have been easier and less stress to book tee time and transportation myself. Will not use Viator again because if this. Very disappointed with it.
We are from Minnesota, and it has been months since we golfed outdoors. It was the first time my wife and I golfed at a course on the ocean. It was the first time we had a caddy. It was amazing. For the entire round it was about $750 for both of us. It was $500 for the golf, $160 for the club rental, $60 for the caddy Ariel (who cost $40 mandatory cash price plus a tip), and $40 for 4 beers, plus tip. The course is beautiful. The ocean holes are all postcard picture perfect. The bunkers are not all true sand bunkers, I assume because of the wind, but play like you are in the fairway, and a caddy telling you exactly where to putt is a game changer. Clubs were fantastic Titleist clubs and a Scotty Cameron putter. Free bottled water, which we drank all of it, and someone who looks after the clubs, pivots, and finding lost balls. It was worth the money spent.
Took longer than expected to get confirmation - booked 2 days prior to Golf. On line chat was good but had to ensure pick up time 3 times.
Loved the experience. The shuttle service was perfect and super punctual. Golf course is amazing and a must play in Punta Cana. Highly recommended this trip!
You want to make sure you're early enough to get there to use all the practice balls on the range since there is no charge.

Very nice golf course. Clubs rental not part of package and expensive $80 per person. Not great clubs either. Victor is amazing caddie highly recommended 👍
It was amazing time.The mandatory caddy is such a great value.The course can be difficult depending on how you play yet the views are breath taking. Memo, my caddy, was a pleasure to meet.
