A Cidade Proibida, também conhecida como Museu do Palácio, fica no centro da cidade de Pequim e já foi o palácio imperial chinês das dinastias Ming e Qing (1368 - 1911). Foi listado como Patrimônio Mundial em 1987 e é o maior e mais bem preservado complexo de palácios antigos construídos em madeira do mundo.
Um “Hutong” é um beco de uma cidade antiga ou a rua típica da antiga Pequim Os hutongs representam as pessoas que ali vivem e são um museu dos costumes populares de Pequim e uma testemunha da história da cidade. Pequim é a única cidade da China que os possui.
A Grande Muralha de Mutianyu é uma das seções mais bem preservadas e conhecidas da Grande Muralha. Localizada a 75 quilômetros (45) milhas) ao norte da cidade de Pequim, a Grande Muralha em Mutianyu tem paisagens de tirar o fôlego, mas menos turistas. Foi renovado, tornando a subida mais fácil e segura. Além disso, está equipado com teleférico e tobogã, proporcionando mais diversão aos visitantes
O Palácio de Verão é o maior e mais bem preservado jardim real da China e influencia grandemente a horticultura e a paisagem chinesas com as suas famosas vistas naturais e interesses culturais, que também é há muito reconhecido como 'O Museu dos Jardins Reais'.
O Centro Aquático Nacional de Pequim, também conhecido como Centro Aquático Nacional, mais conhecido como Cubo de Água, ou "Cubo de Gelo" é um centro aquático que foi construído ao lado do Estádio Nacional de Pequim no Verde Olímpico para as competições de natação do verão de 2008. Olimpíadas. Apesar do apelido, o edifício é um cubóide (caixa retangular), não um cubo.
O Estádio Nacional Ninho de Pássaro foi construído para os Jogos Olímpicos de 2008. A forma é como um ninho que gera vida, é mais como um berço que mantém a esperança dos humanos para o futuro.

During July 2019 we traveled to Beijing. We were 2 families with children. We've booked Demi for 4 days. Demi built us plan which covered the main places in Beijing and was suited for the kids as well. Demi has extensive knowledge inwhich she shared with us. She is great! Obliged, punctual, polite, patient, flexible and was very helpful in everything needed. It was very good decision! We could not do it without her...
We’ve traveled with Demi for 4 days in Beijing at July 2019. We are two families with children. Demi is great! With extensive knowledge, she is very patient, flexible, very informative, excellent in finding solutions (spontaneously she arranged us tickets for a football derby game in Beijing) and she is a great and pleasant person. We were very pleased and this was the best decision we made on our trip - we had a wonderful time with Demi in Beijing. High recommended.
Demi is the best guide we could ask for our first trip to Beijing. With her great english and her endless smile, she tells fascinating historical and cultural stories, about all the highlights in the city. She is a professional: managed to plan a tour with no lines or crowd on the most crowded days of the year- May 1st holiday!!! She planned the tour and the events exactly according to our interests and requests. In addition, she is so nice, relieable, open and caring person. We are thankful of touring Beijing with her. We highly recommend!!!
The visit to the forbidden city was unforgettable and the explanation of the Sofia guide very illustrative. The temple of Lama is beautiful. The next day the visit to the wall and the summer palace respond to expectations. The Spanish of our guide Sofia very good.
We've traveled with Demi for 2 days in Beijing. the first day to the great wall and the summer palace, 2nd day to the forbidden city (& its area), Temple of Heaven, Hutong and the bell and drum tour and more. All with a driver who took us there, Demi has a lot of knowledge, great English and it was fascinating. All for a very fair price. On top of all Demi is a very nice person to be with and talk to. She gave us instruction and recommendations for places to go to on our own for the next days. Highly recommended!
Demi planned for us two exceptional days in Beijing. She was very nice, patient and flexible (to fit the tour to our preferences and requirements). Her knowledge about the history of Beijing and the world-wide politics was very impressive. The conversation was fluent and the atmosphere was excellent. The driver was very polite and the car was very clean. The communication between Demi and the driver was very good and smooth. We definitely recommend on the tour - it saveג us a lot of time and we saw and learnt a lot in two days!
We done a 2 days tour in Beijing with our guide Demi. We managed to tick everything off the must do list: Tian’anmen Square, tthe Forbidden City, Hutong area, the Great Wall visit, Summer Palace.Temple of heaven with the retired people all exercising... We covered all the major attractions. We were delighted with Demi. Her English is flawless -we can't say the same with ours :) - and we were able to have a joke with her. She's a funny guy but also very conversant and a wonderful host. I especially loved her easy-going. Her reponse time is superquick and is willing to assist with all queries you might have. Her knowledge of Chinese history, and the evolution of the City of Beijing over the years, is immense and shared in a way that is comprehensible and hugely interesting. Tickets were mostly prearranged, or purchased on-site by Demi, who knew exactly how to negotiate the crowds and lines, and this maximized efficiency during this busy itinerary. She even pointed out the best spots for photos at each site. The whole tour was well organised wiht local drivers and clean and modern vans. We stopped for lunch at Chinese Muslims style restaurant that was very clean and excellent quality. (I’m still thinking about the delicious green beans that Demi recommended we order!) Instead of taking us to a fancy restaurant, Demi selected wonderful, local place where the food was sheer and not touristic, and we appreciated it By the end of the tour, we felt like she was part of the family! We enthusiastically recommend Demi to anyone touring Beiging- We couldn't have asked for a better guide. XOXO from 4 Spanish-musketeers girls ;0)
We were two couples. We took Demi for two days tour - one included the forbidden city, the Jingshan park, the hutongs and a show. We used local transportation and didn't order a driver. The second included the great wall (Mutianyu), the zoo and the summer palace. With a driver. Demi bought all tickets and arranged everything. It saves lots of time, since she know where to go and where the driver should wait for us etc. And in the forbidden city we bypassed with her a long line. She was very informative with lots of knowledge. She was nice and funny. She was a bit impatient (since we were short of time). She also bought at the show tickets and brought us there. We also ordered from her transfer from airport to our airbnb apartment. The driver didn't know english but was nice, patient and made sure we get to the right place. Car was big and nice. I recommend Demi! You will enjoy her. She can arrange anything for you
It's been very lucky to meet Demi. Besides a great guide he is a lovely and very friendly person. From the beginning she quickly answered the emails which made me opt for her thanks to her professionalism. I booked a two-day tour of Beijing and the Great Wall. I definitely recommend Demi as a guide for anyone visiting the big city of Beijing.
With her help, even before the trip, we planned routes (less accessible by public transport) that are outside the city. Finally we also made the Forbidden City with it, saved a long line and earned interesting explanations... Demi introduced us to interesting restaurants, and spoke English that was easy to understand from teenagers. Nice, smiling, accurate and explanatory. Thank you Demi!!
